Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

rob60990 is correct. 666 Park Ave and Last Resort are falling between Charlie’s Angels which lasted 7 episodes and Pan Am that lasted 14.

  • wn

    Feeling better about The Mentalist.

  • Joe

i don’t think 666 will make it to november sweeps. 1.5 is pretty bad for ABC.

  • RyanCanada

    Yay for revenge

  • enes

I think 666 Park Avenue it’s a great show ! And we all know that spot is difficult for ABC plus it’s on 10/9 c ! Anyway i love this show the cast and the storylines ! Im enjoying this sunday schedule of abc this year with OUAT Revenge and 666 Park Avenue

Oh P.s if ABC cancels 666 Park Avenue maybe The CW might pick it up , i mean why not it is produced by The WB and Alloy Entertainment a working duo that has and had a lot of show’s there like : The Vapire Diaries/ The Secret Circle/Gossip Girl ecc And plus Supernatural works good for them maybe this show could too !

  • eridapo

If ABC cancels 666 right now, what does ABC replace it with. ABC does not a have a show ready to take over the slot, so it is best to wait another 3 to 4 weeks before pulling the trigger. Are they in any rush? nope. If anything, the folks at ABC are too busy figuring out what to do about DWTS. This All-Star cycle is a failure, and the spring cycle could see another 15% ratings drop.

  • Kavyn

I’m hoping they at least finish airing 666 (and Last Resort) up to midseason. I’m really surprised at how poorly both shows are doing, I think they (along with Arrow and Nashville) are the best new shows this year.

    @Ricardo
Can someone tell me when the last episode of Fringe airs? December, January or February?

    January.

  • eridapo

    @ Mike

I just checked and there is nothing there…

the only thing concerning ABC was that it bought a “Dramedy Soap From Fake Empire”

  • Dan S

If ABC has nothing right now to replace 666 their in a lot worse shape than I thought possible. NBC on the other hand has wisely stockpiled backup shows ready to replace low rated turkeys like AP. I can’t figure out why they haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

  • Ultima

    @alffan
Fox may want to consider bailing on the LCS next.

They already did. They have a new contract with MLB where they pick up the division series associated with their CS, but they’re moving them to what is currently Speed (it will be rebranded).

They will still have the All-Star Game, the World Series and regular season Saturday baseball on FOX.

Also, the postseason has to be realigned next year (because of the wild card playoffs), so I expect FOX will switch back to a Sunday (maybe Saturday) start for the World Series, which will be massive reduce the schedule impact (especially for The X Factor).

  • Ultima

where on Deadline does it say ABC cancels 666 park avenue? I can’t find it.

What is ABC going to replace it with? They’re not going to premiere a new show next week without any promotion. Body of Proof?

  • peter

OUAT was competing against NFL and baseball in ratings so was very good i think !!

  • Ryan

Yay for Revenge and I’m glad TGW is remaining steady even if it is really low.

  • Tyson

Speed will eventually become Fox Sports 1. Speed, the motorsports-focused channel, lost Formula 1 after more than 15 years to NBC/NBC Sports Network. We’ll see what happens with Nascar.

Fox wants to build a competitor to ESPN, in addition to its regional sports networks and baseball is a good place to begin. Fox will air fewer Saturday games, 14 instead of 26, as part of its new contract. I believe FS1 will be the beneficiary.

  • Tyson

I don’t see anything about 666 Park Avenue being canceled. Cancellation Bear will feast on it sooner or later but the time has seemingly not yet come.

Exactly. ABC had a terrible pilot development cycle 2011/12 season. Body of Proof is the only show they brought back for mid-season replacement, and it is not ready to begin airing episodes right now. At the earliest, it would be mid-november before it could take over.

We’ll see what happens with Nascar

FOX renewed their NASCAR contract through 2022.
