Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I don’t understand how people can call OUAT ratings great! And then talk bad about Revenge’s numbers. It is only 3 tenths below OUAT. Plus Revenge moved from 10pm on a different night where it was pulling low 2’s in the spring. In my opinion, Revenge is doing great too.

  • SMG4E

So far, I think Revenge’s ratings have been great. Although, I don’t know how it’s scoring with me, personally. Each episode is becoming more and more confusing and muddled. It’s getting to where I instinctively look up the episode summaries right after I watch the show. A serialized drama should put your brain to work, but this is becoming too much. I’ll give it a couple more episodes, but if it doesn’t shape up, I’m gonna stop watching.

@Mark Only trolls are calling Revenges ratings bad, it is doing great as is OUAT, they both have very little worry for a third season.

  • michael in cmh

OUAT is still second in it’s time slot. Why all the panic? It’s going against Sunday Night Football for goodness sakes!

  • Kavyn

I’m with Ultima, I HIGHLY doubt 666 is flopping because of it’s name.

The show itself is actually really great, and the only complaint I’ve ever really heard about the show is that it’s basically not AHS (which they can’t do anyways). The drama itself is great, the creepiness is creepy enough to keep you interested, and there’s always a weekly storyline to show us how wicked the building really is.

I’ll admit though that the pilot was a little boring, but it really does just get better each week.

    “THIS JUST IN FROM DEADLINE

666 park avenue *Canceled* (will remaining episodes still planning to air..)

Las Resort *Gets full season with a twist* (will get 7 additional episodes and will air after Greys anatomy during mid season”

More like this just in from your imagination.

Once again, not concerned at all about OUAT. Look at the competition – it was the only actual scripted show up against football and baseball. What’s with all the football at the same time all of a sudden? Doesn’t look good for 666 though.

  • Kristopher

Glad to see Revenge rose (hope it stabilizes around the 2.7 mark now), and I also heard Homeland rated well. Sunday is THE night for quality television!

  • Phil

    @Mark
If any of your religious friends aren’t watching because of the 666, the devil has won.

And it doesn’t matter since they don’t have Nielsen boxes.
