Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Pull the plug ABC, 666 is dead!

ABC is such bad title shows first Good Christian B*
    The B* in apartment 23
    666 Park Avenue

This don’t make any sense to me!

If Nashville hold up this week moving to sunday night is not a bad idea. ABC needs a strong block on sundays!

  • Liam

Dispite the drop, Once held up well. I really hope the show will rise next week.
Revenge is doing alright on Sundays. The ratings are around the same level as this time last year on wednesdays.
666 not so great. The show is going to be cancelled.

The Good Wife seems stable. I just hope the ratings dont drop any lower.

  • eridapo

    @ Daw Johnson

The drop in FB probably has to do with the Baseball playoffs.

  • s0303

a bit better for the mentalist…

baseball popularity has dropped so much since i was a kid :( knew it didn’t have a chance to beat football, but can’t even get a 2.0 for a playoff game is sad…

  • Warren

LOL Max your posts are made even more hilarious by the fact that they’re always the first one. I have a feeling you draft these in a word.doc before the ratings are posted so you can do a quick copy and paste job with a few quick adds/edits based on the data and click that submit comment button like a gun in a Western.

  • JJ

That’s actually very good for The Mentalist considering the lead in it has and the fact that it’s starts 10:30…

  • THE OLD MAN

Not much to say about CBS/NBC/FOX until the finals

OUAT 3.0, guessed 3.2, hopefully will be adjusted up, not good at all for 666

Think TWD will do better than 2.7

As Laura Petrie would say: “Oh, Rob”

  • iMember

I got to watch both Revenge and The Walking Dead last night.

I watched Revenge LIVE (I can’t miss an episode! TOO GOOD!) and I watched The Walking Dead after since AMC airs a repeat of the new episodes at 10.

Revenge was really good, and The Walking Dead had an awesome premiere! Glad Revenge’s numbers weren’t hurt by it.

Also, I think this is where ABC Sundays will pretty much be steady at with Once and Revenge – which is GREAT I think.

I feel bad for 666, because the show actually isn’t bad. It has gotten better.

  • Andrea

    Poor 666!

  • eridapo

With these Baseball ratings, I expect that in couple of years the NCLS and ALCS will be on Cable. Heck even the World Series should go to Cable.

  • juank

LOL al TGW!!! LOVE REVENGE!!! the walking dead is quite…boring….is not that bad for OUAT….it will be adjusted up

  • omabin

Good for Revenge. I am surprised Once Upon a Time is falling so much. It lost nearly a full point since the premiere already, it’s not good. I don’t get the reasons. 666 is dead unfortunately and the good wife will not stop having bad ratings all of the sudden, its renewal or lack of will depend on other factors that are not the ratings.

  • lando

LOL @ Warren’s “click that submit comment button like a gun in a Western”! Too funny!

  • sally

the mentalist is great but i wish it was still on thursday

  • Clarke

Yikes @ OUAT’s drop. I’m a bit shocked the show is falling so fast and so quickly because I think season 2 is a vast improvement over season 1 so far.

  • Joseph

@Max revenge hasn’t been falling every week it went up…

  • John_M

With these Baseball ratings, I expect that in couple of years the NCLS and ALCS will be on Cable. Heck even the World Series should go to Cable.

    Depends on the teams.

Philadelphia/LA or Mets LA for instance would draw a lot more than SF STL

Baseball seems the most ‘city’ driven rating thing these days – I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Game 1 of the ALCS on cable beat the NLCS on FOX

  • KansasGuest

What happened to OUAT is….football & baseball! IMO, the numbers are pretty good considering they had to go up against both at the same hour. The amount of $$ ABC has invested in this show means they’re in it for the long haul.

  • Petar Ivanov

Once is good ratings. All hit sci fi shows go down in second season(fringe, heroes, etc.) ONce with these ratings is loch for 5 seasons. May be like fringe 4 full seasons and short 5 season.

  • guss

    I don’t understand OUAT ratings.
    Altough 3.0 is amazing, I expected 3.3-3.5
    This season is sooooooooooooo good
