Univision Posted Week-to-Week Audience Gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), Adults 18-49 (+4%), and Adults 18-34 (+6%)
Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of October 8, 2012 to October 14, 2012
- · Univision was the #5 network during primetime last week among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34.
- · Compared to the prior week, Univision increased its audience among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 Million, +6%), Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +4%), and Adults 18-34 (847,000, +6%).
- · Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
- · Univision kicked off the week on Monday as the #3 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC and FOX in the demographic for the third consecutive week. Univision also out-delivered FOX among Adults 18-49 to rank as the #4 network for the night. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and top 15 among Adults 18-49.
- · On Tuesday night, Univision maintained its #4 position among Adults 18-49 and #3 rank among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC in both demographics for the second consecutive week. Univision also held the #4 network rank among Total Viewers 2+, out-delivering FOX. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and among the top 15 for Adults 18-49. Furthermore, Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” delivered its highest performance to-date since its premiere among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34.
- · Univision held the #4 position among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on Wednesday night, beating NBC in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
- · On Thursday night, Univision rose to the #3 network rank among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC and NBC in the demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and top 15 programs for Adults 18-49.
- · On Friday night Univision clinched the #1 network rank among Adults 18-34 for the third consecutive week. Univision also ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-49 (out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC) and ranked #4 among Total Viewers 2+ (out-delivering FOX). Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49 and top 3 programs among Adults 18-34. Airing as a two hour telecast “Por Ella Son Eva” ranked as #2 program among Adults 18-34 (#3 among Adults 18-49). Univision also maintained its #4 rank among Total Viewers 2+ on Friday night, beating FOX for the third consecutive week.
- · Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) Univision finished the night as the #3 network among Adults 18-49 and #2 network for Adults 18-34. “Sabado Gigante” increased its viewership for the fourth consecutive week among Adults 18-49 (953,000, +12%) and delivered 345,000 Adults 18-34. “Sabado Gigante” delivered 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+ (up +17% compared to the prior week) and ranked among the top 10 programs with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-34, and Adults 18-49.
- · On Sunday night Univision ranked as the #5 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. At 8pm, “¡Mira Quién Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing) increased its audience versus the prior week and attracted 3.4 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), 1.7 Million Adults 18-49 (+16%), and 765,000 Adults 18-34 (+15%).
- · At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her, I’m Eva) helped Univision rank as the #4 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34. “Por Ella Soy Eva” attracted 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 980,000 Adults 18-34,
- · Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion) increased its audience compared to the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.7 Million, +2%) and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million, +6%).
- · Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) helped Univision rank as the #2 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49. “Amor Bravio” built its audience compared to the prior week and delivered 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), 2.0 Million Adults 18-49 (+5%), and 961,000 Adults 18-34 (+6%). “Amor Bravio” reported its highest-rated weekly performance since the premiere week on 08/13/12 across all key demographic groups.

Why Univision numbers are not important to advertisings?Univision almost beats the english networks…there are more than 50 millions people who are latinos,if this is not important I don’t know what it is.English networks are crushing this season.

Personally, Univision should be listed seven nights a week, as well as 18-34 ratings on Friday and Saturday nights for all broadcast networks.
