Based on National ratings for the first week of October 2012, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” stood as the No. 2 syndicated talk show for the week in both Households (2.6 rating) and Total Viewers (3.366 million) for the 3rd consecutive week, topping “Ellen” (2.3 rating and 3.031 million) by its largest margins of the new season to date. In addition, “LIVE” outdelivered “Ellen” by 9% in Women 18-49 (1.2 rating vs. 1.1 rating).
- “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” saw gains over the year-ago week in Homes (+4%) and, for the 5th week in a row, in both Women 18-49 (+20%) and Women 25-54 (+7%).
- “LIVE” grew week to week in HHs (+4%) and Total Viewers (+4%) to achieve best-since-premiere week numbers. In addition, “LIVE” was up by 9% in Women 18-49 and held 100% of its week-ago Women 25-54 rating to match its highest numbers since February – since the week of 2/27/12.
- On average for the 2012-13 season to date, “LIVE” is up over the comparable weeks last season by double-digit margins in both Women 18-49 (+10%) and Women 25-54 (+15), marking its biggest numbers at this point in a season in 4 years – since the 2008-09 season.
