@Kavyn
Actually they do, the CW did not finish airing out the LA Complex which is cheaper. They did the same with Ringer so why would they not do the same with one of the new shows this year. It’s cheaper and the CW loves being cheap! They also could hurry up the process with the Selection or add another reality show to fill up an empthy spot or go as far as bringing a show back from the dead that CBS did.
@SPM
I never predicted any ratings.
Just get over Secret Circle already. Gosh.
@Panda22
SLIGHTLY. And networks always release press releases with the preliminaries in the MORNING.
If the CW had kept The Secret Circle around and moved it from its cushy timeslot, it would be pulling the same pathetic ratings as Gossip Girl.
I wish the CW would just drop Emily Owens and give the timeslot to Nikita.
The 632,500 adults 18-49 who watched Emily Owens, must be voters that will vote for Obama or Romney no matter what.
@JJA
Nikita got a 0.7 behind Vamp Diaries and then a 0.6 on a Friday.
What makes you think it would do much better? At least on a Friday it gets renewed.
@Joe Daniels
BATB was also up against the debates, yet it still managed pretty good numbers.
How low do ratings must go before ABC does anything about it. I know it is late for this cycle, but I just don’t think they can do anything to recover the lost viewers. Judges? that hasn’t help out idol. Tweak the format? Introduce new dancing styles? Better celebrities? If the AllStars are failing to generate interest, would new celebrities do the trick.
Emily did not do good because the CW did not promote it that much and also Emily was the first show since Ringer ended not to get under a million. Also B&TB (love it) did well against the debates even though it did not have as strong a lead in (I love you Hart) as TVD (love it too). I’m suprised Emily did that well besides it will take a few more eps to see how Emily does to see if the show actually flopped. Even though a 0.5 for a CW drama premiere isn’t good for the CW but it could go up or down. I like the show though Hart is better but its good.
Do the people that cheerlead for a network here get paid or are the just very odd?
“Can’t wait to see who wins DWTS: All Stars!!!” – said no one ever
@iowegian
So America is dumb for watching a presidential debate??? You have incredible priorities
Are The Voice watchers either too dumb or too lazy to change the channel when its over?
Don’t let the Revolution fans hear ya.
yay! HoD UP from last week!!
LOL, who’s making these tables? Put down the vodka a minute!
Whoever it is made the same mistake this time as last time and put Raising Hope below NCIS LA again even though Raising Hope has a higher rating.
@alexjones
thats because BATB had TVD premiere as its lead in
@JJA
You should be glad Nikita got that a friday time slot because Monday and Tuesday are horrible for the CW especially at 9!
Well, that was fast. I complain of a mistake and it gets fixed PRONTO!
@Jamie–That same year where Nikita ended with a .7, One Tree Hill also got a .7 for its season finale. When it returned, OTH jumped to a .9
I’m not buying the “after VD” argument that so many people use. The demographics for Niktia & VD are completely different. By the way, place Nikita after Arrow and we’ll see how it does then.
Also, assuming Nikita gets moved to Tuesday, it will do no worse than HOD, and may even go up.
