I would say EOMD is doing good by CW standards.

  • MattM

This is the last season of DWTS right?

  • Corvetteguy

Looks like bad times for Ben & Kate,I don’t know if it could last a full season or another season with these dismal ratings. On the other hand it seems like better days are to come from the ratings raising hope is recieving

  • Petar Ivanov

If Nikita can survive on CW all shows can, so EWMD can too. Nikita will be with 0.3/0.2 ratings.

  • JJA

@Jamie–The CW has its reasons. We just don’t know them.

My guess is that GG, 90210 and/or HOD on Friday would bring-in ratings of .3s or .2s, since these shows have a fanbase that turns online to watch them.

ANTM and Nikita attract older people, so placing them on Friday keeps the ratings closer to .4s and .5s (and maybe .6s if they are lucky). Same type of logic as placing Smallville on Friday.

Supernatural had to be moved, since it was the second highest rated show on the CW (not counting Secret Circle). Of course, on any other network with halfway decent numbers, Supernatural would not have been moved.

    @Corvetteguy
How many more seasons are need for raising hope? I mean for syndication?

  • mayorofsmpleton

    Aeiouy,

    I really hope you’re joking…

  • Petar Ivanov

@This is the last season of DWTS right?

    Nope. Two cycles.

  • Greg

I’m not sure Emily Owens is dead already. I think if it’s steady they will give it a back 9, because they need SOMETHING to air on that timeslot and there’s nothing left they could use. They already announce^d ANTM’s 20th season to premiere only on summer, which pretty much means Cult will be paired with Nikita on Fridays. And they can’t air reruns for an entire season.

  • Don

How dumb to start a new show during the debate.

  • Petar Ivanov

I guess Partners stars singing today one of Madonna songs like crazy. Wich will be….hmmm…….may be “Die another day”?

One more good day for Partners. They survive one more week.

Of course good for one is bad for others. Sorry 2BG fans. We will suffer a lot. Thanks CBS.

  • jamie

Definitely agree that the weekday shows wouldn’t work on a Fri like the current ones!

  • Dean_W

Emily Owens M.D. will be canceled. Tuesday seems to be very bad for the CW new shows. Ringer was in the same situation during the 2011-2012 season.

  • Mate

    @Peter Ivanov
Why are you bitching about Partners!? 1. Its not even on on a Tuesday night and 2. Its a good show. Why not take your (“really bad opinion”) and move it to the right article.

  • Sid

    CW midseason:

    90210
    Carrie

    Beauty
    Dixie

    Arrow
    SPN

    TVD
    Cult

    Arrow(r)
    Nikita

  • rob60990

“Dream on TSC would be pulling in 0.7s at least on any night.”

Right, the same show that was pulling .5s and .6s all spring with the best lead-in would start magically pulling .7s. lmao.

  • Sid

If and I mean a big “if” CW moves Nikita, it’ll be until next year, not midseason.

CW won’t be kind to Owens after such a soft premiere unless it miraculously recovers next week which is highly doubtful.

I see Beauty getting the favoritism. It’s a supernatural procedural(two things Pedowitz likes).

  • rob60990

“This is the last season of DWTS right?”

    wrong.

  • Ginger

If Emily Owens doesn’t improve by episode 3, I vote for moving Nikita to Tuesdays. Fridays can be Top Model and rotating encores or a burn off of CBS’s Made in Jersey.

  • Richard Coleman

I was ZAP2IT.com (tv by the number’s sister site) and with DVR boost:

    Emily Owens had a 1.2 — pretty good .
