“Ben and Kate a 1.2? wow! its like seriously the funniest show i’ve seen in a good while….I seriously always am on the floor during that.”

really? cause Ive got to tell you.. I find the show to be one of the most unfunny shows ive seen in awhile and the male lead to to just be annoyingly dorky and poorly written to the point I can’t stand to even look at him. I went through the first two episode without laughing once. I found them predictable and dull. I could not picture myself rolling on the floor laughing at this show under any circumstances.. I am really rooting that it crashes and burns and is replaced by something funny.

amazing how people can watch the same thing and see things so incredibly. differently. do other people find it that funny?

maybe its just because ive seen sooooo many tv shows over the years….

Ah, it’s back at the usual 0.6 – nice. :)

“I was ZAP2IT.com (tv by the number’s sister site) and with DVR boost:

    Emily Owens had a 1.2 — pretty good .”

What on earth are you talking about?

  • rob60990

zap2it usually posts the HH rating.

  • Chris

I wish Heart of Dixie was doing better, I’m worried it might not get picked up for a 3rd Season… :(

The show is so great, it’s just like Nikita, great show but the ratings are terrible.

It seems to me that CW has no other option but to air EO for at least a few more weeks and hope that it doesn’t drop too much. They only have two shows set for mid-season and one has to replace GG after the holidays. They can’t air Arrow reruns for two months, and there’s nothing to guarantee that a replacement show might not do even worse in the ratings.

Those are dreadful numbers for Ben &Kate! It was no better than the episode deserved though. I really enjoyed the second and third episodes but thought last night was an absolute stinker. Lose the ex-girlfriend plot and give the siblings more screen time together, please.

Raising Hope was fantastic last night. It’s a shame that more people don’t enjoy the show.

    Dang at B&K. :(

“zap2it usually posts the HH rating.”

Ah, yes, and now that I look at the Zap2it post I do see that Rick went with “Emily Owens has a decent start”.

    Oh, well.

  • Alex

its early days, for all we know batb could drop lower than EO in a few weeks or even next year. Secret circle is a good example, no show is safe unless it does well during its last month of a tv season.

    @carigis
Different strokes. I find the show to be incredibly charming–and very realistically written. It’s nice to have a comedy where all of the characters feel like people I might actually know.

And he actually had the nerve to say the following: “I’m a strong believer in stating your position and not wavering.” LOL

He was for the Stimulus before he was against it.
He was for universal healthcare before he was against it.
He was against the auto bailout before trying to take credit for their rescue.
He was for a woman’s right to choose before he was against it.
He said he never had the desire to serve in Vietnam before saying he longed to be there.
He was for minimum wage before he was against it.
He was against returning to the Reagan-Bush era before saying he was for it.
He was for Stem-Cell research before he was against it.
He said he didn’t care about the 47% before saying he cared about the 100%.
He was for the assault rifle ban before saying he was against it.
He was against signing the Tax pledge before being the first to sign it.
He said he saw his father march with MLK before admitting he never saw it.
He was ok with hiring illegals to cut his lawn before he was against it.
He said he was a big game hunter before he said he wasn’t.
He said corporations were people before saying they weren’t.
He was against Obamacare before saying he liked the main parts of it before saying he was against it again.
He was for a path to citizenship before being against it, before being for it again.
He was for the TARP before he was against it.
He was for Roe v Wade before he was against it.
He was against people going to the Emergency Room before he was all for it.
He was for Gays being able to serve openly before he was against it.
He believed in climate changed before he didn’t.
He said he didn’t ‘line up” with the NRA before saying he was a member.
He said he owned a gun before admitting it was one of his sons.
He was against the Bush Tax cuts before he supported them.

I’m sorry but I just don’t trust Romney.

I don’t think the cw will try cult on Friday if Emily goes bye bye, which supernatural went up .2 after the debate week. They should move Nikita to Monday if it gets a .6 or higher. Move 90210 to Friday and announce the final season mid season. Put cult on Monday at 9 and Carrie diares on tue at 9 after heart.
    Mon-8 Nikita 9- cult
    Tues-8 hart 9- c. Diaries
    Wed and thur the same
Friday. Repeat vd beginnings or something and 90210 final season.
That’s only if btb and arrow holds up.

@Mark2, we encourage folks who want to talk politics to do it in the Cable News comments. Thanks.

Re: “How dumb to start a new show during the debate.”

I have yet to see any evidence that any significant number of debate viewers would otherwise have been watching the premiere of Emily Owens. The debates preempted a number of shows on other networks that viewers could and probably would have watched instead. Include me among them.

  • RyanCanada

bye ben and kate, and i like the show

  • Nick

    @Jere

    Mon-8 Nikita 9- cult

That is one of the stupidest schedulings I’ve ever seen. Nikita is not strong enough to move to a weeknight, anchor a night, or be a lead-in to a new show, let alone all three.

  • omabin

I still say Emily will air the full season, there is nothing else to put there… There might be, however, some moves come midseason, with one of the underperforming shows (Emily or, as I suspect will happen, Beauty and the beast), being shipped of to friday. As for nikita leaving friday, i think it’s doubtful (i love nikita btw!), because it would imply moving not one, but two shows to friday come midseason. I just dont see the cw doing that.

  • Jon23812

Off Topic, Why is FOX showing a rerun of Ben & Kate instead of showing X-Factor?

  • rob60990

    Baseball rain delay.

  • Jon23812

The baseball game is suppose to be on tomorrow, not today.
