via press release:
The stars are extra bright on Nickelodeon Saturday, Oct. 20 when Emma Stone joins the cast of iCarly for an all-new episode kicking off an evening of crazy shenanigans and comical hijinks beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The laughs continue with back-to-back new episodes of Victorious, Big Time Rush and How to Rock!
Golden Globe nominated actress Emma Stone makes a cameo appearance in iCarly’s “iFind Spencer Friends,” premiering at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Stone will play “Heather,” an iCarly super fan the gang encounters when they attempt to find Spencer friends his own age.
At 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) join the kids of Hollywood Arts in a brand-new Victorious “Three Girls and a Moose.” Tori, Cat, and Jade compete with each other to win the affection of Beck's big, handsome, hockey loving Canadian friend, Moose. But will the girls take their battle for his affection too far? This episode features a music performance of the new song “L.A. Boyz” by Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande. The track appears on the all-new Victorious 3.0: Even More Music From The Hit TV Show CD, available for pre-order now at http://smarturl.it/victorious3.0 and in stores November 6!
Mix-ups and shake-ups happen in a new episode of Big Time Rush “Big Time Gold” premiering at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Kendall buys Jo a gold necklace to show that he’s committed, but Camille thinks Logan bought it for her. Gustavo hangs BTR’s new gold record and Carlos and James wonder what would happen if they played it.
Two wrongs don’t make a right in a brand-new How to Rock “How to Rock a Good Deed,” at 9:30p.m. (ET/PT). Kacey is not happy that the Perfs’ volunteer project is getting more attention than Gravity 5’s project, so she uses a foot injury to get special attention. When her friends find out, they plot revenge.

It’s prediction time:
iCarly: Chances are, Emma Stone will slightly boost the ratings, 3.3 – 4.0
Victorious: Nick’s #1, 3.5 – 4.2
Big Time Rush: 2.6 – 3.0
HTR- 1.8 – 2.3
I’m not gonna even bother with the Nicktoons because they’re not being promoted AGAIN.
My predictions
iCarly: 3.4 – 3.9
Victorious: 3.4 – 4.0
Big Time Rush: 2.5 – 2.9
How to Rock: 1.7 – 2.1
Here’s what Nicktoons ratings WOULD be if it was well promoted.
TMNT: 3.5 – 4.1
Kung Fu Panda: 3.2 – 3.6
T.U.F.F Poppy: 3.8 – 4.3
Can someone tell me how does Nickelodeon expect TMNT to save its declining ratings if the show isn’t promoted at all? If They think TMNT has a dedicated fanbase like Korra – they are wrong. The only show that has survived Nickelodeons crappy promotion is Korra.
..But ANYWAY.. Prediction time!
iCarly: 3.5 – 4.0
Victorious: 3.6 – 4.0
Big Time Rush: 2.6 – 2.9
How TO Rock: 1.5 – 2.1
Nicktoons (Sigh)
TMNT: 2.7 – 3.0
Kung Fu Panda: 2.3 – 2.5
Tuff Puppy: 2.1 – 2.5
Forgot my icon — oops. Lol.
Well, I have some mixed news about this week. TMNT is still at 11:00 AM but now at 11:30 is Spongebob rerun. Kung Fu Panda is now premiering at 12:00 with Tuff Puppy and Power Rangers following. Well, the Spongebob rerun is probably to boost the ratings. I still hate that they got rid of Robot And Monster instead of Power Rangers.
TMNT – 2.7 – 3.2
Spongebob – 2.6 – 3.3
Kung Fu Panda – 2.5 – 3.1
Tuff Puppy – 2.4 -3.0
I really can’t stand that Nick gave decent promotion to a crappy 90s game show but not their top performing shows. I really thought Gotta See Saturdays would be the start of the Nicktoons return to Nick’s schedule. But no, instead of airing Tuff Puppy they have a SB reun to fill in the blanks.
I don’t understand what Nick is doing. They gave TMNT 4 months of promotion and had so much confidence they automatically gave it a 2nd season. Korra has a HUGE fanbase and will do well no matter what. Not every Nicktoon IS THAT POPULAR. Nick needs to fire every one of the promotion team and wise up. There ratings drop isn’t because of Neilsen of Netflix, it’s because Nicktoons are now playing 2nd fiddle to crappy music shows.
Nickelodeon has officially p***** me off. For weeks, I’ve been waiting for Nick to start up Gotta See Saturday Mornings and I got it…. FOR 1 WEEK! Nickelodeon has officially rescheduled ever Nicktoon ( execpt TMNT) off the lineup. But guess what’s still on the lineup..HOW TO Freakin’ Rock. Bullcrap.
NickAndMore suggests that the change was due to low ratings. If that’s true it’s Nick’s fault. They refused to promote them AT ALL and if I remember correctly HTR scored just as bad even with promotion. Cynthia Zargami and the promotional team – I HATE YOU ALL!
What needs to change at Nickelodeon is their programming team, and their promotion team. Its funny because when TMNT starts getting 2 million viewers, Nickelodeon is going to wonder why it’s getting those low ratings, when the answer is simple: They don’t know how to promote.
Nickandmore is correct, the change was due to low ratings,. But if they PROMOTED Gotta See Saturdays correctly, it would have surely got 3.2 Million or even more.
I’m actually going to call Nickelodeon and yell at them until I lose my voice. Gotta See Saturdays was suppose to save Nickelodeon from the dumpster, but without promotion that is SURELY not going to happen.
Spongebob needs to only be aired 4 times a day. 2 times right after the Nick JR. Block (2-3 PM) And 2 times @ 7 (7-8 PM) Figure it Out shouldn’t have been renewed.
Its funny too how Nickelodeon blames their declining ratings on Netflix, when the real reason is right in front of their eyes. Pfft.. If I was the Pres. Of Viacom, i’d fire Cyma, and all of the senior executives AND replace them.
Ever since Cyma Zarghami became President of Nickelodeon the channel started to go downhill.
2006: Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, and The Fairly Odd Parents gets cancelled despite their high ratings. (FOP was later renewed however)
2007: The last 12 episodes of Danny Phantom had NO promotion. They aired All Grown Up weekday mornings at 6 AM.
2008: They waited TEN months to show the final 10 episodes of Avatar.
2009: Can’t think of anything at the moment.
2010: Stopped promoting True Jackson, VP (Although the ratings were low, low 3 millions are not that bad. In fact, How to Rock, gets low 2 millions and high 1 millions, but Nick still promotes that). Became too reliant on SpongeBob.
2011: They aired their cartoons SUPER SLOW. (Although this has been going on for a few years, they took it to an extreme in 2011)
2012: Cancelled Victorious, which was a high rated show, and renewed Supah Ninjas which was a low rated show. They do not promote their Nicktoons.
This is a little stupid but last I gonna tell you ( my TVBTN friends ) a little story. Last night, I had a little dream. I dreamed that I was going on a vacation to Nick’s HQ. My first destination: The promotional/scheuling team. I gave them a whole sheat of notes of changes I wanted for Nick. First of, get rid of Nick Jr. It has it’s channel, why keep it.
Then, I got serious. I demanded that Spongebob be reduced to 5-6 airings. Nick has many more shows than most channels, but yet, ONE freakin’ drives the whole channel. I them demanded that they pull the plug on Sony Music and Dreamworks. Nicktoons should be made by Nick and I don’t want another How To Rock. Then, what I’ve been waiting to do for a year now, I DID!
I yelled at the top of voice that I’m tired of seeing Nicktoons, why Nick ever became popular, suffer. When I look at Nick’s current schedule I die a little inside. Nick has 5 shows currently on the schedule. Spongebob, Fanboy, FOP, Drake & Josh, and Figure It out.
(continued) What happened to Friday Night Nicktoons, SNICK, Nicktoons, and awesome programming. @John23812 I totally agree let me try:
2006: Danny Phantom, and Jimmy Neutron being cancelled. Jimmy never even had a proper sendoff.
2007: Danny Phantom’s crappy final run (still brought Nick ratings)
2008: The birth of Over Spongebob
2009: Arguably my least favorite year. Got rid of the splat logo, shoved Spongebob down of throats, Fanboy was made
2010: Totally screwed The Fairly Oddparents
2011: Ratings died due to Over Spongebob and iCarly, iCarly became less funny
2012: Arguably the 2nd worst year. Nicktoons have screwed out of a timeslot, promotion, and Spongebob wasn’t affected at all. Slow premieres, cancelled Victorious, Tuff Puppy has aired a rerun on Nick in 4 months but Figure It out was revived.
I agree on the deal with dreamworks. Nickelodeon is becoming too reliant on other things…
I honestly think the stupidest things Nickelodeon did this year was, Cancel Victorious, and over air Spongebob. I also think Nickelodeon need to stop ruining Butch Hartman shows and show the man some freakin’ support! Here’s what shows I would cancel/renew if I was the Nickelodeon President.
First of all, I’d drop ALL deals with dreamworks..
Cancel:
Robot & Monster
Kung Fu Panda
Supah Ninjas
Figure It Out
You Gotta See This
**I’d give these shows one final season**
Penguins of Madagascar
BTR
Spongebob (Let it run ’till 2014) (The second movie comes out in 2014)
Renew:
House of Anubis (Show has potential)
TMNT
F.O.P.
TUFF
Korra
Victorious
Nickelodeon is starting to really fail at Live Action shows. They need to pick up some good non Dan shows, fast.
And finally.. of course I’d promote the hell out of these shows.
I honestly think Butch Hartman is the hardest working guy on Nickelodeon. FOP has had 11 1hour episodes and numerous half hour specials. Spongebob has run for 13 years and has 2 1hour episodes. Danny Phantom had like 4 1hour episodes for a 3 year run. Tuff Puppy has yet to have a 1hour episode but trust me it’ll be here by Summer 2013, I swear. The Dudley x Kitty episode has been confirmed as a half hour special.
Dan Schneider is a close 2nd but animated shows cost more than sitcoms. Victorious has had 3 1hour episodes and iGoodbye has been confirmed as a 1hour episode. FOP had a 90 minute episode to.
Butch Hartman doesn’t deserve the crap he’s getting from Nickelodeon. He is a talented guy, and he shouldn’t waste his talent on a network that puts his show on a random time slot, and not promoting it.
Good news, this week Nickelodeon’s Gotta See Saturday Night block probably did better than usual ( well iCarly and Victorious ). Emma Stone trended worldwide, score 1 for iCarly. Victorious, however, as Nick’s #1 had 2 trendind topics. Tinkle Aid (LOL), and LA Boyz. LA Boyz trended worldwide for nearly 2 hours. Both probably scored about 3.7 to 4.5.
More good news, Nick has decided to promote their Nicktoons next week. So Gotta See Saturday Morning was only temporarily removed. So, I’m putting my predictions up early:
This Week:
iCarly: 3.6 – 4.1 million viewers
Victorious: 3.7 – 4.4 million viewers
BTR: 2.5 – 3.1 million viewers
HTR: 1.8 – 2.3 million viewers
Next Week:
Kung Fu Panda: 2.9 – 3.5 million viewers
TMNT: 3.0 – 3.7 million viewers
Tuff Puppy: 3.2 – 3.6 million viewers
Robot And Monster: 2.6 – 3.2 million viewers
Victorious: 3.4 – 3.7 million viewers
iCarly: 3.3 – 3.8 million viewers
Also, Nickelodeon is airing a new Monster High Movie called Ghouls Rule. I really don’t see why Nick thinks airing girly movies like Barbie and Monster High will bring in viewers, but okay. Friday, October 26, 2012.
