   5 milion???!! The season ended at 3.2 million….that big of a jump would be crazy….it’ll luckily hit 4 by mid season.

   Nice to see AHS: Asylum beat everything on TV but CSI. Already wondering what the 3rd season’s location and cast will be. Love that they’ve kept a bunch of the 1st season cast but in different roles, they’re awesome actors.

   Asylum was not nearly as good as the original AHS..still ok, but not great. I hope it improves. The alien thing bothered me in a “that’s not very creative” way.

   @J This season is crap, but I’m not ready for them to cancel the whole thing, it’s my last guilty pleasure reality show. They just need to not throw in that many newbies at once and stick with only introducing a few rookies at a time.

   FX was stupid not to give AHS the netflix bump. If they put the 1st season on netflix streaming a few weeks ago the ratings would have been even better. It skews very young though, a 2.2 demo without breaking 4m viewers is very impressive.

   I like like the challenge without JEK, Paula, EV, and Laura. I wish there was a B2NY team so we could say Coral vs. Trishelle round 2. I would also like a DC team, Emily, Ty, Mike, and Ashley would be good. Maybe split San Diego up the way they did Vegas!

    A 2.2 for a cable show is brilliant, a lot of networks would be breaking out the champagne and toasting a job well done with that.

    American Horror Story did absolutely, without a doubt fantastic. Season 3 is pretty much in the bag if it keeps that up.

    Since when is a 2.2 on a CABLE show disappointing? Really It got the same numbers SOA got their last episode. It beat Nashville and CSI

    2.2 is a fine showing for AHS. FX probably doesn’t spend as much as the broadcast networks, so it’s a win, no doubt.

    Yeah, AHS is a big huge flop hitting a series high like that. It performs very well, growing from its premiere all last year. It could’ve gone the route that Falling Skies went and returned down.

    Asylum is pretty good so far. It doesn’t grab me the way the first season did from the start. But still very good. It looks like it can only get better.

    3.8 million viewers with a 2.2 demo is under performing? Compared to The Walking Dead, yeah. But in general that’s a great cable rating and the best the series has ever had isn’t it?
