The season premiere of American Horror Story: Asylum won the night with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating, up from a 1.7 for the season 1 AHS finale. Duck Dynasty came in second with a 1.8 adults 18-49 ratin down from last week's 1.9.

I personally enjoy reading the posts from Max trying to say how awful AHS is. It’s very comical & I’m looking forward to more of his negative posts. BTW that is 1 incredibly insane show & there’s no way it could’ve aired on broadcast TV at anytime, very graphic in content & disturbingly weird.
I’m pretty sure Intensity got banned for sock puppetry but I have no doubt Intensity is now Max.

Max; What are you talking about? I am not sure I understand you. Why should they cancel it. Its ranked number one. Just because you didn’t like it? You are deluded. FX is very happy to have it, and it will likely have another season, and another after that. Its nice to have something a bit more original then SOA, which is mostly men beating their chests and women involved in cat fights. Although to be fair I haven’t watched SOA for a long time now.
AHS isn’t the runaway hit that The Walking Dead or Sons of Anarchy is.
Nobody said it was. Really fun show regardless, good to see it pulling solid ratings.
AHS is living proof that viewership is no big deal! With a 2.2 rating and less than 4 million viewers, half of those are clearly part of the demo rating! It skews young. Plus, I bet that this season will be better. It’s more freaky than last season with more gore and drama. And strangely, Jessica Lange looked younger here than her character last season. Kudos to the production team for an excellent season opener.
Isn’t 2.2 the exact same number as Sons of Anarchy? So they are tied, yes? I am confused.
