Basically if the Republicans want to have an honest debate about the benefits drilling on public lands fair enough, but preference it by saying even though oil production overall has increased we should still be drilling more on federal lands, instead they carefully word their statements to make it sound like oil production overall(both public and private) has decreased overall
Doug
Come on
We have less aval now
Price has increased
If we need less then when a a problem occure the cost should not go up. We are living had to mouth andthe price in driving it to low use.
As for coal we have shut down to many power plants so we have to export. If that is not true then why is it the electricy price is on the rise it the areas we have shut the plants down.
Most importaant. 2001-2003 produced more oil that we do today.
Do I need to find a clip on Obama’s statement?

Some of you need take your GOP Talking Points over to The Fox Blog. This is a TV Ratings Blog, and your posts just make you sound like a a bunch one dimensional nut jobs.
@usnretiredx2
2011 has been the highest amount since 2003, as I said if the Republicans want an honest discussion about Oil Drilling on public lands fine, just stop carefully manipulating words to make it sound like it’s(ie oil drilling overall) the worst ever in the history of oil drilling
Romney might win. He’s got more than a punchers chance to take this thing. You have to be impressed with the guy.
Team Obama attacked him with 300 million in negative ads. He wiped that away in 3 hours of debate. Romney, being the good business man that he is saved his money and is now blitzing the air waves.
If he wins he will have defeated, the corrupt lib. media, Hollywood big money, the Chicago outfit and the liberal swear machine, media maters and the like, pretty impressive.
I am interested to see if he does well Monday if elements on the left will go all out to attack him being a Mormon. If they can get enough Christians to stay home that will help O.

Last time checked we didn’t have to listen to you. Who the H#ll are you anyway. We have a couple of Tony’s but I never saw TonyNYC.

Bush Jr in 2004 went all out attacking Kerry in the summer trying to define him. How did that work out
@usnretiredx2
Basically when the Republicans say Oil Drilling on Public lands has decreased, they are hoping the general public takes them at their word, doesn’t go online and check the facts and has absolutely no clue what public lands(compared to private) means. That’s why I say they are full of BS with that comment, although technically their claim is true(it has decreased on public lands) they want the misinformed person listening to think oil production overall has decreased
@
Mark
Romney is right there. Bush didn’t call Kerry a felon, a murderer, a tax cheat or maybe some of the outside groups did and I don’t remember. I know they called him the french candidate and a flip flopper. Seems pretty tame compared to the Chicago Outfit.

I can’t believe 1,000,000 plus people watched Al Sharpton.

If you don’t think Rove had a hand in the Swift boat group, then I have beachfront land in Florida to sell you real cheap.
As for your claims.
Felon – they said given the comment Romney made he is either lieing or a felon. I think the point of that was he was lieing(least that’s how I took it)
Murderer – they just said the policies his company had didn’t work out so well for some people, the right overblown it saying he called Romney a murderer.
Tax Cheat – I never see Romney as a tax cheat, he is just a guy who benefits off the current tax system alot and chances are he will benefit more off of it if he gets into office(notice how he won’t touch the capital gains tax, which he hugely benefits off of now for instance, why not get rid of that loophole).
The entire “Mainstream Media Jackals” have corrupted the Political Process
but they will be stopped when,(not if) the Cyber War happens….they will
then be Frozen Robots unable to continue their craven corruption.The looks
on their Frozen Faces will be priceless.
Papa,
did you notice Matthews at the dinner with Obama and Romney last night? Michelle could not make it so he was Obama’s date!
