Obamacare Redefines ‘Full Time’ Employment as 30 Hours a Week
by Michael Patrick Leahy 12 Sep 2012
A year and a half after the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, bureaucrats at the IRS and Health and Human Services issued an 18-page report outlining new regulations that will dramatically increase health care costs for small and large businesses alike.
The regulations, written by an IRS attorney, arbitrarily redefine “full time employee” as someone who works 30 hours a week for a business. Traditionally, most private businesses have defined “full time employee” as someone who works 40 hours a week. With this new regulation, the federal government is now removing the right of businesses to define “full time employee” as they deem appropriate for their unique conditions.

@Matthew
Finding a political party which supports our own pros and cons seems to be a dilema for many of the people in my own little world, including myself. I’m independent with republican leanings.
The so-called FOREIGN POLICY debate tonight will turn into the What he said to Putin and GITMO show, and Romney’s attempt to interject his Libya views maybe just a tad to quick. Then the economy will be thrown in for good Measure.
It will all boil down to Bob Schefer leading the questions to be answered, and directing Obama and Romney to point and counter point, Schefer’s been around way to long to lose control and I honestly think he won’t allow the BS meter for either one to tilt to much.
I do know this, Bob Schefer has many questions about how the Video statements kept going, maybe he’ll sort it out.
See you guys after supper
Peace
@d.d.
I’m slowly catching up on past post, you have some great ones as well.
I had to close my eyes, take ten long breaths (in with good out with bad) so I wouldn’t start typing ballistically about STATE and FEDERAL taxes. On that note, as a constitutionalist, state income taxes are valid, federal income taxes required exhaustive debate over the 16th ammendment.
HEY The Friday board is up!
Friday is open
@TZCA
Both Marks very rarely reply back to me when I provide them with data. If they do it will be an obscure comment or very general like Mark did.
PS, being somewhat new to the Post, most here knows I took a 90K+ pay cut just so I would be well away from that Obama numbers that seems to float around.
Now that I am no longer employed there I was the Production Manager for GDLS / Force Protection building these

@usnretiredx2
Can you tell me one tax Obama has increased int he last 4 years? (I wish he did because I believe in order to pay for things we need to tax people, especially during 2 wars) but he hasn’t)
