“GOOD MORNING AMERICA” ANNOUNCES SPECIAL KICK-OFF TO TAYLOR SWIFT’S “RED” PROMOTIONAL TOUR TO INCLUDE EXCLUSIVE “GMA” FALL CONCERT PERFORMANCE,

AS WELL AS THE DEBUT OF HER NEW SONG, “BEGIN AGAIN,”

ON “THE 46TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS” ON ABC

“Good Morning America” announced today that multi-platinum-selling artist Taylor Swift will kick off a promotional tour for her highly-anticipated album, “Red,” with an exclusive “GMA” fall concert presentation. It was also announced, exclusively, that Swift will debut her new song, “Begin Again,” on “The 46th Annual CMA Awards.” Although her performance at the “CMA Awards” was confirmed months ago, “Good Morning America” made the special announcement this morning as part of Swift’s promotional roll out for “Red.”

On Monday, October 22, Swift will appear live on “Good Morning America” to discuss “Red,” and on Tuesday, October 23, she will dazzle fans in a live performance of the songs from the album at an exclusive “GMA” fall concert event.

CMA’s reigning Entertainer of the Year, Swift was nominated for three CMA Awards in 2012 -- Musical Event of the Year with The Civil Wars for “Safe & Sound,” Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Swift won Entertainer of the Year in 2009, tying with Barbara Mandrell as the only female Country artists to have claimed the top trophy twice.

“Good Morning America” is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos. Josh Elliott, Lara Spencer and Sam Champion. The morning news program airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Hosted for the fifth time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” airs THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC, live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

    TAYLOR SWIFT! I Love Her!

  • Kyle

    I have been madly in love with Taylor for about three years now. I have tons of posters and pictures of her all over my bedroom walls. I would do ANYTHING just to be able to touch her or smell her hair!

    How can they “debut” a recording when it’s been available on Youtube for a while. It’s awful, by the way. Just imagine being on the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building on a clear day. As you look down in every direction, you’ll see masses and masses of humanity! You know what they ALL have in common? Any one of them could have written this song, extemporaneously, and in one take.

    @Kyle:
    That’s perhaps the creepiest thing I’ve ever read on the Internet.

    LOL

    @PSYCHIC

    ME TOO :P

  • THE OLD MAN

    Brilliant promotion ploy for Ms Swift. It’s really nice she is able to reach so many age groups in multiple music formats (pop, country, social 50, AC). It’s good to see in this day & age.

    @ Glue

    ME 3

    @ Laurence Glavin

    There are multitudes who don’t get their music source from YouTube, but the good old-fashioned way of radio & TV. It’s a multi-media world we live in & this is a brilliant way to go.

  • The Illuminator

    LOL

    @The Old Man

    ME FOUR! :p
