    If Last Resort could start a weekly growth until it reaches 1.9-2.0s, then it could be renewed, considering how bad that timeslot is for ABC. If it can grow a little bit and hold an audience in the death slot for ABC, why not keep it? Of course, we have to wait and see.
    I’m really sad for Up all Night :( , I wish it could have been adjusted up (if so, it would have become a toss up). With only like 7 or 8 episodes left this season I’m hopping for a miracle while also approaching this as the final season

    GO TVD and i think that’s a season high in Viewers for TBBT.

  • KS

    I asked this question before but I never got the correct answer.

    Is getting adjusted up a tenth a real reason to celebrate? Bill and Robert has said a lot of times that the numbers are rounded up. Like, for instance, if a show gets 0.64 in the prelims and 0.66 in the final, its looks like it’s been adjusted up a lot. But in reality they are very minute.

    Scandal is one share point behind Elementary that had huge publicity. Even with the expected drop-off from Grey’s, they aren’t going to move a Rhimes drama from that slot. The whole hour on all three nets are bad which may reflect dvr usage and cable competition. Unless there is a blockbuster to replace it with, it’s not an issue.

    @Michael
    Well, when it aired in the winter after The Office, Up all Night beat 30 Rock sometimes

    “Scandal numbers still looking pretty good considering abc’s other 10pm shows”

    None of those shows have 3.4 lead-ins and Castle & Nashville both beat it.

  • Ricardo

    @Holly

    Last Resort would have to get at least a 2.0 to be considered for renewal.

  • Phil

    A tenth is a couple of Nielsen families. Can change on a whim. Someone went to bed early.

  • richard

    last resort had a good pilot. but episode 2 and what i could sit through of episode 3 couldnt follow. maybe it gets better, but i wont be too sad if it gets cancelled if it doesn.t awake was as good as boomtown, breaking bad, justified, malcolm in the middle, king of the hill, dexter, trailer park boys

    i MISS AWAKE :(

    Up All Night’s loss is Guys With Kids’ gain! It should get a full season order soon.

  • Petar Ivanov

    POI need to add teen star like Miley Cyrus even for few episodes. Youngs must be attracted to the show. Its just shame best scripted show on TV, wich can be example how a drama should be written and acted to be with this demo. Youngs and teens are more attracted for shows like – NG, 2BG, TWD, RVN, Once, Glee.

    @rob

    Castle and Nashville are on nights with higher HUT levels, no? And Nashville has Modern Family not that much earlier.

  • Kyle

    @Max you sound pathetic. Scandal is steady but LOW. Look at that. It’s not even the highest rated ABC drama at 10. It was Nashville and Castle. Both which had lower lead ins.

    Scandal will not survive to season 3 if it stays at these levels.

    Thank goodness no downward adjustments for Last Resort!

    YAYAYAYYYYY for TVD!
    A 1.3 is UP a tenth from last year result (3.02 1.2 18/49) and only 1 tenth down from two years ago (2.02 1.4 18/49)
    TVD is strong as EVEEER!

    Scandal is doing badly…

  • Phil

    @Petard

    “Youngs” don’t watch CBS.

  • silvit

    @Oliver

    Well, for some reason they put Tina Fey it high-heeled boots and she can’t walk in them. She looks so stiff and even her acting is affected. By the way, high-heeled boots are so NOT Liz Lemon.

  • a p garcia

    Expected Scandal to be ajusted down and I am glad that tvd was adjusted up and LR was steady. Scandal can’t keep much of an audience from GA.

  • robin

    @KS

    you wouldn’t be asking that question if you had a favorite show that was adjusted up

  • Dillan

    The numbers are pretty awful for Beauty and The Beast. The Secret Circle didn’t get a 0.7 until the show returned in January 2012, before that, it was hovering in the 0.8 / 0.9, and then the show got cancelled. So, at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if by May next year, BATB is cancelled.

  • Phil

    @Ricardo

    You do realize that networks look at the ACTUAL shows, and not just the numbers, right? And they’ve seen episodes that have not yet aired? Makes a difference in a cancellation or a renewal.
