The Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy and The Office were each adjusted up a tenth while 30 Rock, Up All Night and Scandal were each adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings. Final baseball ratings are also in the table below.

I don’t know if CW will either renew Beauty and the Beast or will cancel it, what I know is that it’s too soon yet and its numbers are not so far from their stronger shows, people talk like if this networK was the CBS.
So Scandal is a hit vs Last Resort in demo 18/49?
@John A, I believe Shonda said Scandal wouldn’t get 22 episode long seasons. It will air 13 episodes and then its fate will be revealed in May.

Scandal isn’t a hit in any measure. It’s doing slightly better than Last Resort, but that’s not saying much for ABC.
@Cyrax86 It is also up against cable shows such as the The Walking Dead which scored a 5.8. And don’t say that their is no audience overlap. Because I watch both of the shows and I know multiple others who watch both as well. I’m not calling revenge’s ratings great by any means but they are solid and much better than Scandal.

I think that Last Resort could have a good chance with a 1.7 only because it’s in a death slot, ABC know they’ve had trouble there for years and a 1.7 might be sufficient enough. Episode 4 of Charlie’s Angels got a 1.3!
I wouldnt believe what execs say. If scandal was a hit it would get 22 episodes.
IF Scandal gets renewed so should Last Resort. They’re real close in the demo & LR with no lead in pulls in a larger audience against more formidable competition at 8pm than Scandal does at 10pm.

If it has a chance with a 1.7 it will be because their midseason dramas fail as badly or worse than their fall shows, not because of a “death slot”.
with beauty and the beast drop , SUPERNATURAL is now the third highest cw show. life is good!
Elementary keeps dropping… shame, it’s such a good show.
On the other hand, CBS’s dramas apart from the NCIS twins, are all doing much poorer this year than last. So that might give it a chance.

This from someone who isn’t even a fan: The CW needs a few good shows to compensate for the crappy ones that pull it down. If the CW loses too much ad money it may start cutting corners on shows, like for example end the old ones (SPN, 90210, Nikita,) or steer itself towards reality, or simply cease to exist. For those of us who have an interest in one or more of their shows we root for the network to stay afloat.
Pity to see Beauty and the Beast nbrs down so much this week, I expected perhaps .3 down, but not that much.
Unfortunately though I hate to say it but I won’t be surprised if it falls further next week – Kristen Kreuk’s character in yesterday’s ep was the most whiny, annoying, unsympathetc female lead I’ve seen in ages. Not sure if it was the way it was written, the way she chose to perform it, or most likely a combination – but it was not attractive. Yeah yeah it was to show her dedication and strong feelings etc etc etc, and it was explained at the end, but by that time I’m sure many viewers had turned it off (and the half hours show that to be true!)
Much too risky for a program to go that negative with a character in only the second episode, before the audience really cares about her and can see past it.
TVD deserves the viewer loyalty. The episode was fantastic.
I think the massive drop in the BATB ratings is an indicator that the audience checked it out last week and didn’t like what they saw. Nothing else explains it losing nearly half the demo from TVD with less competition in its time slot.
TVD Fans, watch VD LIVE and Spread the word and support the show. VD Lost alot viewers this week thanks to Big? Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. As part of the VD Fandom we need to Support the Show and View Live. NO DVRs. Were obsessed with VD and need to Support the show. @TVD Fans, you should also let the fans konw about this Issue by writing it in all your UT,FB,VD WIKIA ETC.. THANKS..IM VD’s number one fan, don’t ask. 1.3 is good but im sure it can maintain higher. 1.6 next week
30ROCK is doing really really bad this season. I mean, it maybe Thursday but those ratings are about the same as Animal Practice’s. UP All Night is being an Epic Fail too. Yea, Community will probably be sent back to Thurs 8pm.
Elementary – 3 episodes in and a 2.3 demo
CSI – 13 seasons in and a 2.3 demo
The Mentalist – 5 seasons in and a 2.1 demo on Sundays at 10pm
Yeah, this is NOT good for Elementary. CBS is like “Why the hell did we move The Mentalist?!”
They’re killing a solid show (The Mentalist) for two new unstable dramas (Vegas and Elementary). Shame on CBS!!!
