ABC has ordered two extra episodes of Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy and The Middle bringing each show's episode this season to 24, according to Zap2It. The network also ordered an additional episode of Castle, bringing its episode total to 23. Each show produced the same number of additional episodes last season.

ABC should definatly NOT move Castle to Sundays at 10pm, it’s so old skewing I doubt that’s the same audience who watch OUAT and Revenge considering that the latter can get a 2.6 with just over 8 million viewers.
So happy that Castle has another episode.This just means that ABC is happy with Castle’s ratings.

Good to know. But I had already assumed that the shows would get as many epis as every other season. I would have been upset if they would have cut Grey’s down to 22. But why would they? Greys is still their highest rated drama in the demo. It beats all the newer ‘hit’ shows.
