According to the Twitter Feed of lead actor Stephen Amell, Arrow has been picked up for a full season by The CW. We'll update this post if an official press release materializes soon.

THE CW ORDERS FULL SEASON OF BREAKOUT HIT "ARROW"
October 22, 2012 (Burbank, CA) - The CW picked up a full season of its breakout hit drama ARROW, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW.
"Our strategy of rolling out our new fall schedule later in the year really paid off for The CW on several levels, especially with ARROW, which was the network's most watched premiere in three years and is one of the breakout hits of the new season," said Pedowitz. "I'm proud of the quality of ARROW and I'm happy we'll be able to share more of it with viewers."
ARROW scored a bull's-eye for The CW with its premiere, which drew 4.14 million viewers, making it the network's most watched telecast of any show, on any night, in three years. The ARROW debut also marked The CW's most watched series premiere since THE Vampire Diaries in 2009. In its second outing, ARROW became the only new network drama this season to maintain its audience in both adults 18-34 and adults 18-49 from its premiere to its second week.
ARROW is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg.

Not a shock, obviously. As far as CW shows are concerned I expect Beauty and the Beast to get a full season, then cancelled a la Secret Circle and Emily Owens may last a few more episodes (or get a full year) since GG is ending and ANTM isnt on the midseason schedule.
I expect Cult to likely replace Emily Owens on Tuesday or if CW wants to keep Hart of Dixie and Emily Owens paired together they may premiere Cult after Vampire Diaries and move BATB to Fridays.

Every returning show has a full season order (except Gossip Girl); Arrow is the first new show to receive a full season pickup.
im so happy to hear this news now i hope it can maintain its ratings and maybe even grow more to become the number 1 show for the cw and beat TVD and i will be waiting and hoping for a season 2 and more than that.
This Show is awesome and it deserves it and i wish that more people watch it.

Great news, but not a shocker considering it got a 1.3 for two weeks in a row. The only downside is I have Cablevision, but it has been fine for me to just watch this and Beauty and the Beast online.

Emily Owens and Beauty and the Beast got orders for 3 addition scripts according to deadline. New Girl got orders for 2 more episodes.
I hope Arrow eventually goes close to 2.0. That would give CW a legit show.

Love this show. So happy to hear its been picked up by the CW for a full season although not surprised. Along with this press release they should have added its also picked up for a second season. We all know that’s gonna happen.
Because of this show I now know where the CW is on my cable channels….lol
