Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.
Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I really don’t understand people’s obsession with Max. Yeah, he has ridiculous posts, but a single post from him generates at least a dozen responses. Rather than letting a couple of silly posts control the discussion, why not just ignore him?
Along with Arrow getting a full season pickup Emily Owens and BATB received additional script orders for 3 more.
I am really enjoying once immensely more than last season. I’m not a fan of Emma though.
@Dan, as noted in last weeks ABC R/C post, 13 eps plus or minus a few wouldn’t surprise me for either show.
@Holly
I guess its the same in the way whenever Mikey aka Bondoel spoke he generated a dozen or more responses with his Nikita fanboyness.
I nailed it right on the head. 3.3 for OUAT. I could see an up adjustment though.
If 1.5 was really the demo for The Mentalist, that’s a new series low. What a shame! Really, why CBS doesn’t cancel Vegas and move The Mentalist to Tuesdays (day the show originally aired). I mean, at 10pm the show scores a 2.1 demo (which is close to what Vegas is scoring), but at 10:30, 11pm, it’s just impossible to be stable. I just don’t understand why CBS is wasting time with a show that’s probably gonna get cancelled and in the process is killing a solid show.
YAY for 666! I hope it keeps this up and airs all it’s episodes for a great one season. Not sure if it would be picked up for a second season but hopefully at least it will finish out the story and leave no cliffhangers.!
@Danie: Last night’s TM rating doesn’t matter in the big picture. If the show did indeed score a 1.5 at 11pm, that would actually be pretty decent. TGW has been drawing 1.7′s at 9pm…
woooo once and revenge! amazing episodes for both series!!
i love park ave 666 i think its one of the better show ,dont know why such
negative reviews
I’m predicting Amazing Race will be adjusted up 0.3 in the finals. Current ratings reflect the West coast airing of Good Wife, so Good Wife most likely will be adjusted down.
The Amazing Race keeps losing some of the group’s most interesting couples to poor finishes.
According to a French ratings website The Mentalist earned a 1.5 and approx 8 million viewers.
Amazing Race season is really awful both the challenges and cast I defo dropping the season after tonight. If it stays this bad its gonna start going to below 2.0.
Nice for Revenge. The episode was pretty good. The new hot girlfriend of Nolan is great – now we’re waiting for the “bi-sexual triangle” aspect of that relationship to show up.
OUAT was pretty good – as is usually the case when Robert Carlyle is the main focus.
The Walking Dead appears to have gone from season two’s sluggish “talk show” mode to a “split as many skulls as possible” mode. Two episodes of nothing but split skulls… I wonder if the writers actually have a plot for this show at some point or if they really intend it to be nothing but either a talk fest or a gore fest. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take the latter over the former. But a plot would be nice…
REVENGE
GOOD WIFE are both up!
So is Once!
And even 666 Park Avenue!!
Great night all around.
WOW @ REVENGE events!
Good Wife is top notch.
@Ashley
TGW is about a woman who stays with her cheating husband, right?
LOL. Clearly you’ve never tuned in.
But keep on postin’ … boo-boos keep me awake.
So happy about the ratings today. All my four shows going up, the ABC sunday lineup and The Good Wife! Revenge did exceptionally well i thought. I think the good wife and revenge should not air opposite to each other.
Seems kind of low for football especially with the Steelers.
