Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), CBS (Football Overrun) & FOX (MLB Baseball) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

NBC was number one among adults 18-49, but CBS won with total viewers.

On CBS, the start of all primetime shows were delayed approximately 57 minutes due to Football overtime, increasing the likelihood that the ratings will be adjusted in the finals. From 7-8PM,  NFL Football earned a 7.6 adults 18-49 rating. 60 Minutes earned a 3.5 adults 18-49 raitng The Amazing Race earned a 2.3, down three tenths from last week's 2.6 adults 18-49 rating and a new low for a fall original. Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Apparently, [one of the] Max was MoHasanie’s sock puppet. Neither will be joining us again.

  • Justin121

If only Good Wife was on ABC at 10. Explosive line-up!

    better yet,

Parenthood, RVG, Good Wife. I don’t think I could handle that!

  • Max

I apologize, Revenge really is an amazing show.

    @Bill Gorman

    I am who’s sock puppet?

I am the original Max. Yes, the one who posts about the ratings of REVENGE.

    “@Bill Gorman

Different Max. I don’t keep track.

  • jay

Are sunday finals today or tommorrow?

  • Anthony

Where are the mlb game numbers? Dont make me go to another site to get them because then I might as well always use another site.

  • Cheryl

No, Grey’s Anatomy had a 3.4 this week

  • eridapo

What is the point of pretending to be someone else. It is a disservice to this communinity. I might not agree with some of the views of some posters like Chris or the real “Max”, but I enjoy reading their “not base on any real factual data” comments.

  • eridapo

Have finals been delayed? Want to know about The Mentalist.

  • chrisss

    @ eridapo

Sunday finals aren’t released until Tuesday.

  • Max

I don’t know about this sock puppet whatever issue but as I have said to you countless times before, I am not nor have I ever been anyone else on this site in terms of a user name. This has always been my name.

I have been accused of being some Intensity person in another thread because I called out the mediocre ratings of AMERICAN HORROR STORY and of course, everyone wants to call me out for being someone else when I talk about the non-hit known as REVENGE.

But no, have the moderators/owners check the ISP’s. I’m just me.

“Where are the mlb game numbers? Dont make me go to another site to get them because then I might as well always use another site.”

The preliminary ratings for live events are useless. Go elsewhere if you want to read useless numbers. The final ratings for Sunday will be, as usual, posted Tuesday morning.

    @ MAX
Oh please don’t give us the nonsensical BS. You are exactly who we say you are. You post the same way that idiot posted last year, so you two are one ane the same or you”re just a follower of the original. Plain and simple.

  • Jonny C…. formerly Jon

Is it possible that the troll can have multiple ISPs?

  • Anthony

They really aren’t useless since baseball is usually only adjusted a few tenths. Seeing the preliminary numbers lets us at least get an idea of around what it got. Plus the football numbers are there, so I’m guessing the female writers on this site just made another mistake omitting them, because they make a lot of mistakes on this site.

  • Nick

    Yay for OUAT and Revenge!

Damn 666! I’m not someone who wishes a show to get bad ratings, but if 666 isn’t adjusted down, Last Resort, my favorite new drama is DEAD :'(

  • cris

you can do it TGW you are much better than Revenge and 666 PA.

  • Ryan

This should show CBS that TGW does better at 10pm. Switch the two shows CBS.
