Wow fox is in bad shape

I secretly hoped NBC would’ve stayed in the cellar after chopping Harry’s Law. However very impressed they continue to be number 1 in the new fall season. The only new show I’m watching on NBC is Revolution which looks like a lock for renewal next year.

Are debate rating discounted for these comparisons?

Is that Fox number right??!?! Wow – not a good season for them.

Debates are not counted because the networks do not sell ad time.

Practically the only thing FOX aired this week was the NLCS (as rain delay tanked their highest rated night).

I don’t know how you can judge their season based on that.

The chief reasons FOX is tanking:

Baseball ratings are awful in all demos. The playoffs are taking up timeslots that would otherwise earn FOX higher ratings.

FOX’s highest rated show X FACTOR (despite a ratings drop from last season) has been interupted by the low rated playoffs.

Very few availabe slots for scripted shows.

FOX must be praying that IDOL returns strong.
