    @Oliver

    How is Go On a solid lead-in for TNN when it’s ratings have been (excluding Olympics pilot) – 3.4 / 3.4 / 2.7 / 2.1 / 2.6 and now 2.4!

    It has been all over the place this season and has now fallen a whole ratings point from it’s 2nd episode (3.4 vs. 2.4, and has fallen even lower to a 2.1)

    Despite this, The New Normal’s ratings have been – 2.5 (Monday following Voice) / 2.5 / 2.2 / 2.0 / 1.7 / 2.0 and now 1.7

    So yes, Go On is a higher rated show and has a higher average, but it’s ratings are all over the place; one week 2.7 one week 2.1. TNN is a lower rated but more stable show that will be renewed for a season 2. It manages to stay stable with Go On’s ratings going all over the place (2.2 following Go On’s 3.4; 2.0 following Go On’s 2.7).

    At least the CW didnt renew the flop circle. Id be the same as HOD.

  • SpM

    Go On is another flop by Matthew Perry

    Chandler Bing just can’t catch a break, he is a real life Joey Tribbiani.

  • Oliver

    HE/23 was always going to be tricky for ABC. The shows are completely off-brand and tricky to schedule, ending up against similar shows and surrounded by incompatible programming. Great shows, wrong network. Worth a try, though.

    I think trying to bring back TGIF is potentially more valuable in the long-term than potentially doing better on Tuesday in the short-term.

    @Dennis

    i dont understand how emily owens can get higer ad price then supernatrual?

    http://adage.com/article/media/tv-ad-prices-idol-match-football/237874/

    I read somewhere networks sell ads based on projected ratings, and then have to compensate the advertiser if the ratings fall below the projections.

    So I was going to say that explains why, if the ratings were projected to be higher than SPN but then fell well short. However, looking at that list, most of the shows that have proven lower ratings than SPN are getting higher ad prices, so that doesn’t make sense.

  • Joe

    Wow, The New Normal and Apartment 23 tied. Going to be a tight race between those two and Mindy.

    I think HE/A23 will be fine if they stay at this level, but they can’t drop any further.

  • SpM

    @ John A

    Have magical powers to know that for sure right?

    The multiple petitions to save TSC say otherwise.

  • Oliver

    Oh, and I do wonder why ABC didn’t repeat HE/23 in Summer. That won’t have helped them gain momentum.

    @SPM

    Go On is another flop by Matthew Perry

    Chandler Bing just can’t catch a break, he is a real life Joey Tribbiani.

    Go On is the second highest rated show on NBC.

    The Voice did much better than the X factor. Not surprised.

    I wish Hart Of Dixie and Apartment 23 did better.

  • John A

    Easy to predict that really. Half TVD audience ran away when The Flop Circle came on why would anyone watch it Tuesday?

  • Max

    FlopFactor steady in the 2.0s two weeks running!

  • eridapo

    Disregard the a18-49 and a25-54 for Happy Endings…

    A18-49 is 1.8 and a25-54 is 2.0

  • Wendy

    On top, it says Happy Endings was 1.8 in 18-49, but if I’m reading endapo’s post right, it says 2.3? What’s up there?

  • Mary

    I agree Mickey. Flop is a term used on here so easily without people taking into account the networks these shows are on. Go On is probably NBC highest rated comedy now even with the lower rating.

    The concern should be the ABC returning shows Happy Endings and HE/23 because this was their premier episodes–which tend to be the highest ones for returning shows. Happy Endings is especially concerning as they’ve dropped so much from their regular season ratings and this was pitted against what will be their regular Tuesday competition.

    At least HE/23 and TNN have a possibility of rebounding when facing their normal competition The Mindy Project. The X factor, even if a repeat, gets pretty good ratings and leeches out much more total viewers.

  • Wendy

    Okay, endapo posted right before my question. Please disregard!

  • SpM

    Go On is probably NBC highest rated comedy now even with the lower rating.

    Says alot about the sorry state of NBC doesn’t it.

  • DW

    maybe go nice sitcoms then dancing results then edge sitcoms at 10 for abc.

  • PV

    Actually, Hart Of Dixie is doing just okay. There’s bigger problems on the network. It’ll be renewed. I can’t say the same about Emily Owens M.D.
