Was sooo hoping Happy Endings would be adjusted to a 2.0 or above. Hands down it is the best show on TV right now. I’m very worried.
I wish they would move The Voice to Tues/Wed to go against X-Factor…that would be EPIC!
@Max 90% of last night Xfactor was a recap so the ratings are pretty good for a recap! and fox is the only guilty that the show steady in the 2 for two weeks because if the show was steady in regalur day the rating would be like 3.2 or 3.5
@ ICBBsFuture
NBC would be crazy to do this. As it stands, Fox is already pissed that NBC did that once and will do it again next week. If NBC wants thermonuclear war with Fox, I’m sure Fox would more than happily comply by having Idol go up against The Voice in the Spring.
You tell me then who would win… Idol my be aging, but it still would slaughtered The Voice on any given night.
Another cycle of The Voice in the spring would more than likely cause viewer fatigue, and a fresh Idol would just destroy it.
To TPTB,
Need Edit button.
Thanks
@Samuel you are right the real test will be on November 1st when they have the first live show, i think that’s the day when XFactor rises! simon hire’ britney for live show
where’s sj? i want to know what he thinks
@eridapo
I don’t know if I understand your first comment about moving it against X Factor but I still think it would be EPIC…just for fun (to me anyways). The second part, I don’t know who would win. I just started following this site a few weeks ago and would like to see what AI brings to the table (since I haven’t seen the ratings). Third, I’m a Fan of both AI and The Voice but will 100% be watching The Voice over AI in the spring just to see how SHAKIRA and Usher will do and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one wanting to see them too. That’s just my opinion though.
@ICBBsFuture I’m sure some people like you will want to see Shakira and Usher, but I’m almost positive that 10x more will want to see Mariah, Nicki, and Keith on Idol.
Parenthood!
NBC are so stupid. RVN at 8 pm in tuesdays will kill tham all. And is great lead-in show.(with DVR rating 2.1 beat all nbc shows without go on and office) Nightmare schedule from NBC. Let’s hope that after The voice is over will move RVN at 8 in mondays for jan-feb the voice break. And next season at 8 in tuesdays or wednesdays.
@eridapo
Agree. Idol is still better. NBC better first make their schedule right and than make fox angry. Alos they must think wat if the voice is down big after 2-3 years. The voice is like ABC DWTS 3 hours. That’s a lot.
ICBBsFuture
Next week The Voice will air on Monday, Wednesday, an Thursday, so you will see the battle.
Wow at Parenthood. Completely swept its time period and grew 0.2 in and in total viewers from its lead-in. And this is exactly why NBC keeps renewing. It’s the best utility player they’ve got.
@eridapo, its not next week is in twoo weeks 7Nov y 8Nov and i really hope that x factor up and the voice go down! the talent on xfactor this year is freaking amazing
Emily Owens is not on the right network. It would have worked better on ABC or NBC.
@aiden,
Thanks. Forgot about baseball.
X-Factor flopped because it’s way too over produced and “staged” to the extreme. The prize money is way too big for all that mediocre “talent.” Including the pay for Britney. And to the individual who said that Factor had better talent than The Voice, you are either deaf or a die hard Britney stan who can’t come to terms with the reality of the shows failing ratings. Avery Wilson and Trevyn Hunt’s vocals alone (From The Voice), would destroy Factor and all 4 of their contradicting judges too. Just saying.
>> advertisers pay more for men, especially young men, which is the hardest demographic to reach since they watch fewer hours of television <<
So the people with the least interest in watching TV are the ones who determine what's on. System is seriously broken.
ABC tuesday comedy is the new NBC thursday comedy which both are…ridiculous flopers.
