The new producer/head writer is saving GH by bringing back more balance and vets. Congrats to GH to improving ratings in year 49!

  • Robert

I don’t think it’s really DUKE…he would never do this. BRING back Robert Scorpio so that he and Luke can get rid of this imposter and find Robin!

  • Brianna

To bad the 18-34 demo doesn’t matter. November and December should be good, but I can’t wait until Feb sweeps.

  • Mackenzie

I bet the ratings will drop by the time November sweeps is over. Then the ratings will boost when February sweeps comes. In my opinion the ratings always are higher during sweeps, not because of the writing or the new producer.

  • Deb

Expect it to DROP big time now that Jason is out. Without him major loss. I love GH but it has been boring IMO with some of the other storylines Kate/Connie with Sonny. Wasting his talents. Jason was the center of the show for me. Duke is insanity.

  • JustaFan

They need to change the show’s name to OLTL@GH because it’s more and more becoming focused on OLTL characters which I have no interest in. OLTL characters like Todd Manning are not the main focus and when I see Todd, Starr, Tea in scenes I feel like I’m watching OLTL. None of the characters from OLTL FIT in Port Charles.

And even when they bring back vets they ruin then. I’m sick of it.

  • JustaFan

correction: are now the main focus

  • Angela

Thank you Cartini!!!! How anyone can say anything bad about GH is beyond me. The great storylines brought to us by the best cast in daytime makes it a must see soap.

  • Donna P.

@justafan – I actually LIKE the OLTL characters except for Tea. She seems like she overacts too much, but I LOVE McBain, Starr and Todd and I NEVER watched OLTL a day in my life. I think this was a great compromise for fans of OLTL and I am happy for my friends that loved that show are now WATCHING GH because of their characters joining GH. I don’t mind these characters AT ALL as long as they are helping keep GH on the air! JMO

GH is on fire! What a change Frank and Ron have brought. The use of our long time vets, Tracy, Monica and Alexis. We have seen them more in the last few weeks, than we did in a few years! I love the character mix, especially the OLTL mix of characters. Carly and Todd are awesome together and like Starr and Michael. We just need a little more Mac and Felicia. The next few weeks will be great with AJ coming back and sadly Edward passing away. It will be great to see Ned and Skye return. Let’s hope Alan and Lucy make it back to GH soon.

  • Rosalina

I am enjoying GH very much but I think contrary to what the powers that be think – fans love soaps, and the fact that there is no competition out there for soap fans, of course GH picked up the fans of the great soaps that were canceled. If you want to watch a soap, there isn’t much choice out there. Not that I am taking anything away from GH. I think it is great, but it is what it is.

  • Marissa

Go GH!!! Awesome news. The show has absolutely been on fire lately!

  • Jennifer

Kudos to GH, but I do think that a lot of the increase has to do with Jasam reuniting because they are a super-popular couple on the show. I also LOVE that they are bringing the vets back, I just hope the numbers won’t drop too much with Steve Burton leaving. However, I love Sam and Kelly Monaco and I love Sam’s son Daniel, so I’ll still be watching and crossing my fingers that Steve will decide to return sooner than later!

  • BG

    Way to go GH!!

  • Sophie

I’m so proud of my favorite soap! I didn’t like or know the OLTL characters
at all. I didn’t like them at first, but I’m in love with Todd and John McBain now. I love the vets too. They really know how to balance this show. It’s so good, and I can’t wait to watch it. I thought the new time might hurt cuz it’s up against Days. But it’s doing better.

Does this mean Neilsen will raise the ratings on the stupid Chew and Katie. For some reason they think all of us soap fans are watching them.Where are the Chew ratings?

  • Matto

Wow… GH is really surging to new highs. Every week it spikes to new yearly highs in viewerS.

1.1 in the 18-49 demo? it was like 0.8 last week! 1.1 is like only 1 tenth below Y&R!!
