    Yeah….that REALLY hurts….all the way to the bank.

  • Sicilian Papa

    Oh, no Romney is right there. Polls always under represent Republicans. If we are tied we are slightly ahead. Polls are fools gold we will see on election day.

    I am more confident now than I have ever been but it is very close.

    See the left is throwing the kitchen sink at Romney. The corrupt lib media is in full campaign mode and Romney is still polling near or at 50%. When you are the challenger that is good.

    I don’t count votes from polls. Remember the exit polls had Kerry with 5 to 7 point win. Bush won by 3.

    @SP

    Real Clear Politics:

    Ohio = Obama +2.1
    Iowa = Obama +2.0
    Wisc = Obama +2.7
    NEV = Obama +2.7

    OUCH!!! Now that’s really gotta hurt.

    Keep in mind, all Obama needs is Ohio, Wisconsin, and either Nevada OR Iowa.
    Obama = 271
    Romney = 266

  • Mark2

    @SP

    Exit polls and pre-election polls are two different animals. Don’t get them confused.

  • Tomas

    These polls are not the only ones recently to be skewed by over-sampling Democrats to create results that favor Barack Obama. The September 10 CNN/ORC poll was similarly skewed. In August, on the Fox News segment “Campaign Insiders” today, Democratic pollsters Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen both confirmed their belief that major polls are skewed in favor of the Democrats by over-sampling of Democratic voters when the surveys are conducted.

    Mark:

    You and Tony need to stick with medically-approved pharmaceuticals. You mock and make light of Bill O’Reilly’s show but you think Rachael Maddow’s Show is (apparently) worthy of intelligent viewing. Nothing could be further from the truth. When first I turned on to her(?) show I thought she was a HE.

  • HRJ

    Can’t we all just get along?

    Payback really hurts. Colin breaks with republicans again. Dick Cheney and his guys messed over Colin and he hasn’t forgotten. Colin was fed lies about WMD’s. Colin did not agree with Cheney giving NO bid contracts to his friends. Payback is a bitch. Colin is well respected in the military community. THERE GOES VIRGINIA. The edge that BO needed.

  • Tomas

    Projection of the 2012 presidential race sees Mitt Romney being elected the next president of the United States with 53.63 percent of the popular vote and 359 electoral votes to President Obama’s 45.92 percent and 179 electoral votes.

  • Sicilian Papa

    @

    Mark 2

    You keep believing that if it makes you feel better. Go to your happy place and keep repeating Obama can’t lose…Obama can’t lose.

    I have been watching this stuff for a number of years. Mark look at all the old polls that are included in those averages. If a poll is older than a week it is obsolete. What the trend is now is all that matters.

    If O. picks up 1-3 points in the next week he is in good shape. If he doesn’t he is in trouble.

  • HRJ

    Can’t we all just get along?

    @@@@@@Tomas

    Please get some rest. You have over taxed yourself. No need to thank me. Friday you’ll feel better.

  • Mark2

    I’ve been following as well. I still remember when Gore won the popular vote but Bush won the electoral vote. The same thing is going to happen this time. Romney is winning the nationwide polls but they are meaningless. The only vote that matters is the Electoral vote, do you understand that or should I explain to you how that works?

  • Mark2

    @Tomas

    Take you unskewed Republican polls and throw them away…their meaningless.

  • 1966

    North Carolina put back in the Toss-Up column

    Obama now leads the RCP Electoral vote 201 to 191

    A lot of those polls are old polls. If they are older than a week they are obsolete. You have to look at the current trends.

    If those trends go O.’s way he is in good shape because Dems start with Cal, Mass, NY, ILL. If he doesn’t move some votes he is going to struggle.

  • Ratboy

    Im speechless! :lol: :lol:
    Go for it Papa! :wink:

  • Sicilian Papa

    I am not saying O. will lose if he doesn’t move some votes. I am saying I feel good about Romney’s chances as they stand today.

  • Coffee Steve

    @d.d.

    I read your post on the Navy Seals Dad, it made me sick to my stomach reading how the Father was treated.

    *8A funny thing just happened to Gloria Allred and her October Surprise after the transcript was released… It backfired..Romney didn’t buy hardly any stock in Staples..
    Romney didn’t load up on Staples stock, devastating Allred’s case

    Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney not only thought Bain Capital-backed Staples stock was a risky investment, he never exercised all of his options to buy it, according to new testimony that is devastating to Obama backer and celebrity attorney Gloria Allred’s bid to use a 1987 divorce and subsequent appeals to torpedo Romney’s campaign.

    A source familiar with the case provided Secrets with testimony from the appeals case in which Romney revealed that he didn’t buy all the Staples stock he could because he didn’t see it as a sure thing.

    It couldn’t have happened to a nicer lady
