   Yep, I knew AHS would drop. HAHA

   It wasn’t a hit last week to begin with and folks pretty much hated the premiere. Expect this slide to continue.

   SOA still reigns supreme on FX and this show still can’t capitalize on all the heavy promotion.

   LOVE IT.

   AHS = the REVENGE of cable.

   Shocked since South Park was a Halloween episode it wasn’t higher. Oh well..still over a 1.0

   Well, anything over 3mil is pretty good for FX. SOA is riding high for the moment, but this is a transitional season, the conclusion to many a storyline, and nobody knows how people are going to like the partly rebooted version we’re going to see next season.

   Is there still hope for humanity? No, I’m talking about the drop of AHS, but the drop of Duck Dinasty. Please someone explain me why this show is entertaining.

   And wow at the difference btw NCIS and SVU on USA, Yesterday SVU got 0.8-0.9. A treasure for USA.

   I’m not a big fan of AHS, but beating everything else on cable for the night speaks for itself. That’s a big drop from last week, but it’s still high. Maybe a lot of people were confused and turned off by the anthology-by-year nature of the show, but I think it will stabilize now. Heck, it would probably be profitable even at a 1.0. Justified doesn’t even do that well.

   Too bad trashy stuff like AHS and SoA and Walking Dead get such high cable ratings while intelligent shows like Justified and Alphas have to settle for, or struggle with, much lower numbers.

   Those are pretty solid numbers for AHS premiere and encore episode. Loved last nights episode..especially Zachary Quinto.

    I loved the episode of AHS. This season seems to be a lot better than season 1 and we have an idea where the series is headed, unlike last season, where there was horror but the story was all jerky though. This season really seems to be huge.

    oh max. AHS will be back for season 3 and that’s really all that matters. besides, premiering big and then falling down a few notches happens to SOA as well. it started this season with a 2.8 and is now in the mid-low 2.0s usually. and last season, it began with a 2.5 i think and then was usually in the high 1.0s and low 2.0s.

    anyway, last night’s AHS ep was AWESOME. can’t wait for more. hope it climbs back up.

    Hi there Mr Troll. American Horror Story did well last week, and has done well this week too. If you genuinely believe what you are saying and are not trying to bait people into responding to you I have to wonder what you’re doing on TVbythenumbers.

    3 million and a 1.7 on cable is brilliant, aim a comment at any of the cable networks on twitter/email asking them if they would be happy if any of their shows hit 1.7, you’d get a resounding YES.

    No need to be rude about him, granted his logic seems to fall into the typical fanboy area, but even so, Alphas for example won’t be returning for another season anyway. So you could add bitter to describe his comment too.

    No. It wasn’t better than the premiere. In fact, it was worse. More horrible writing, jarring editing choices, and bad direction. The show is just throwing out every possibly horror cliche at the wall to see what sticks. I don’t even see a season long story arc being created other than shock value after shock value.

    It is repetitive nonsense.
