The Middle, Guys With Kids, Criminal Minds, and Law And Order: SVU were each adjusted up a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Wednesday broadcast ratings. Game 1 of the 2012 World Series also notched a 3.6, up four tenths from the preliminaries. For comparison, last year's World Series Game 1 earned a a 4.2 A18-49 rating and 14.17 million viewers from 8-11:13p on October 19, 2011

All those people whining about SPN’s episode, have you EVER watched any shaky-cam/found footage horror movies? The episode would have been a critical darling and would have been a huge hit like the boring Paranormal Activity movies, if it was done as a movie! For SPN’s standards it was below-par, but compared to movies, it was better than 95% of the genre!
Hope SPN goes back up to a 0.9 next week..

@ John Actually I have and have made a few horror movies in my time. This show just missed the mark. They have been messing with the SPN formula to get some new blood into the mix but this show has always had a strong affinity to classic rock and cars. Milo Greene is not classic rock … yet. SPN may get 10 seasons as the CW standards have been lowered in the past few years but remember Smallville never got this low and ended as the stars were wanting something new not because the ratings were down:)
Suburgatory is a series ABC will want to get to syndication. Airing after Modern Family is a good choice by ABC. Its also skews very young which is also ideal for the network.
I could see CSI taking CSI Ny’s place on Fridays next fall, ratings are way down… I wonder if they would?
arrow does well in that time slot because the competition is not as bad as thursdays. TVD goes up against the big bang and 2 1/2 men and it still gets good ratings. TVD is still the number one show on CW definitely. no other show wud survive that stiff competition..
I, too, am pleased that Criminal Minds is doing well. In my opinion, it is the best show on prime time. I hope to see lots more of Reid in Season 8! This week’s episode was long overdue!
Nashville is really good, cut down on the music video acting would be good. Criminal Minds bring back Emily…..
I really like Nasville. The first episodes have to invest time in developing who the characters are and how the stories unfold, overlap or conflict. It has me hooked. I agree about cutting back on the music some to showcase the characters. This isn’t a one hour music video.

Nice. The Middle is doing well. I quite enjoyed the episodes I watched a few years back, but it’s not really on Aussie TV that much.
