Note: The Thursday Night NFL Network Buccaneers/Vikings game was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis. As a result the numbers for NBC are likely inflated and subject to more than typical adjustments in the final numbers.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory was even with last week's 4.8 adults 18-49 rating. Two and a Half Men scored a 3.7, down three tenths from last week's 4.0 adults 18-49 rating. Person Of Interest garnered a 3.0, up two tenths from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating.  Elementary scored a 2.2, down a tenth from last week's 2.3 among adults 18-49.

On ABC, Last Resort earned a 1.3, its lowest ratings to date, down four tenths from last week's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Grey's Anatomy notched a 2.9, a new season low & down half a ratings point from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. Scandal scored a 2.0, up a tenth from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On FOX, game 2 of the World Series earned a preliminary 2.9 adults 18-49 rating, but this is likely to be adjusted in the finals.

NBC was likely inflated due to the NFL Pre-emption, so no analysis yet.

On the CW, The Vampire Diaries earned a 1.2, down a tenth from last week's 1.3. Beauty And The Beast was flat with last week's 0.7 adults 18-49 rating.

Late-night ratings are below the primetime data.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

10PM continues its downward slide. Scandal again could be adjusted down 1/10 gievn the Greys two minute overrun. There was also a minute over run for TBBT, TAAHM, and POI, so adjustments to CBS could come in the finals. Elementary continues its downward spiral to the 2.0s like all 10PM shows. By now it should be clear this is the new normal for the hour.

Last Resort… If any show was hit by the World Series, it could be this show. The only thing against this theory is POI did not fall, and both shows are gear to the male demos. Too bad for Last Resort the episode last night was rather good. I’m really liking the series.

Congrats to POI… It took Greys down (at least on the Prelims)

  • Marquette

Que the Russian guy rambling a out PoI.

  • Ian Morris

Ouch, Last Resort down Rock Centre levels. The bear will feast tonight…

  • Marquette

  • HB

    Last night POI was amazing!

  • Just Desserts

    Yay!!! Last Reosrt is gone!!

  • were123

I hope Up all Night can keep that rating, but that’s reallyyy unlikely.
Sad for Last Resort, it seems that it’s now buried into the ground

  • taylor

scandal will be adjusted down as always

  • rob60990

bye bye Last Resort. One can’t be too happy. ;)

  • alexjones

only a slight drop for elementary, looks like it may be stablising. good ratings for POI, it’ll be renewed for sure at those numbers. and where are teh CW numbers?

  • Michael

At least, Scandal is consistent at a 2.0! This show never disappoints, another great episode last night!

  • Jason Lawson

Kind of confused by the ratings atm. O.o! Will come back to check again. Is it safe to say Arrow is the new number 1 CW show?

I think the Last Resort is in the wrong timeslot to tell you the truth. Its too heavy for an 8 pm show. I really like the show but IMO if it came down to Last Resort and Nashville. ABC will choose Nashville over the other three. Even Park 666 has a better demographic than Last Resort.

Damn Person of Interest has turned into a great hit for CBS. IMO this is another show CBS should consider for the post superbowl slot. Anyone agree that POI would be a great contender for post Superbowl?

  • CrimTV

    TVD got a 1.3 and B&TB has a 0.7

  • Battlejuice

    Go PoI!!!

  • Joe

oh no ! the PoI fans now are gonna explode i dont wanna be part of this

  • John A

TVD still No 1 on CW as it should be.

  • carla

POI was fantastic last night! I’m glad to see it picking up steam. Rolling toward a post-Super Bowl broadcast, I’m betting.

  • danny94

strange that scandal stayed steady despite a big greys drop maybe it really has found its own audience and isnt as lead in dependent as i thought. p.s OUAT looks good for abc’s top rated drama this week considering the greys drop.

  • SPM

Floppity & the beast at 0.7 again? LOL
