Note: The Thursday Night NFL Network Buccaneers/Vikings game was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis. As a result the numbers for NBC are likely inflated and subject to more than typical adjustments in the final numbers.
On CBS, The Big Bang Theory was even with last week's 4.8 adults 18-49 rating. Two and a Half Men scored a 3.7, down three tenths from last week's 4.0 adults 18-49 rating. Person Of Interest garnered a 3.0, up two tenths from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating. Elementary scored a 2.2, down a tenth from last week's 2.3 among adults 18-49.
On ABC, Last Resort earned a 1.3, its lowest ratings to date, down four tenths from last week's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Grey's Anatomy notched a 2.9, a new season low & down half a ratings point from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. Scandal scored a 2.0, up a tenth from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.
On FOX, game 2 of the World Series earned a preliminary 2.9 adults 18-49 rating, but this is likely to be adjusted in the finals.
NBC was likely inflated due to the NFL Pre-emption, so no analysis yet.
On the CW, The Vampire Diaries earned a 1.2, down a tenth from last week's 1.3. Beauty And The Beast was flat with last week's 0.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Late-night ratings are below the primetime data.

Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@ John A
Did I even mention that I thought it would get renewed? um nio, you seem to love putting words in peoples mouths don’t you.
POI rulzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
This is surprise of the year. POI UP against football&baseball is HUGE surprise for me. I guess steal a litle bit from Greys female audience.
So POI take post super bowl slot after 3,2,1……………NOW.
Happy.
Kristen Kreuk’s acting is not at all bad. She’s very likeable in her role, and carries the show nicely. As for the beast/Vincent, he doesn’t really do much acting (all he does is sulk).
The problem with Beauty & The Beast is the writing and the plot. The same cast could have pulled-off a much better show, if they had been given better material to work with.
@SPM well if CW really missed TSC wouldnt they get it back? Since clearly that they arent trying to get it back they dont miss it.
Would prefer Elementary in post-Superbowl slot over POI.
Buddytv has a poll running on their site
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/hawaii-five-0/what-cbs-show-should-ger-the-p-48015.aspx
@SPM
Just give it a rest already. Why don’t you go chat with your TSC blog sites and ya’ll can cry over how much you miss the show? No sense on coming on this site day after day to piss and moan about a show that was cancelled. Also you do sound ignorant coming on here just to belittle other shows on the CW. You need to learn to enjoy shows while they last and after that its time to move on and find some new ones.
@John A
I wouldn’t waste my time arguing with fan-boys of CW shows. Just a suggestion there, many don’t accept arguments grounded in reality.
@ Jess
Shut up
@zerg
Why CBS would give to POI the post superbowl slot? It has already a nice lead, it doesn’t need a boost
POI is only CBS show that can be lead-in at wednesdays or tuesdays next season. Even NCIS is down a lot. And with all these old and expensive CBS dramas POI is only one fresh but also cheap wich is even more important for network. And one of the few more male shows. Wich mean more money from ads. For example POI all actors are cheaper than only one from Greys main leads. And i read here that original contracts are for 4-5 years for the shows in US. So at least in next 3 years POI will be crazy profitable for CBS. No one show can be better anchor for them.
@ John A
You are beyond help.
“Because Castle in an old people’s show.”
@silvit:
Wooooaaaaah! Hold your horses there! I’m a 23-year-old guy and I’ve been a fan since I was 19. Its better than most other procedurals and imo should skew more people in the 25-49 age group, but somehow its not doing that.
Seems like Last Resort is gone.
The ten pm slot continues to be very low except for Rev and Walking Dead. Elementary keeps sliding and so far it seems like the only CBS ten pm show that can do well is CSI. The numbers for Vegas and Elementary with pretty weak competition make HFO’s numbers almost look good for CBS at ten.
POI did well to go up when Men and Elementary were both down but the fan boys will go crazy now lol. Bit concerned to see such a big drop for Grey’s so early in the season.
Kristen Kreuk’s acting is bad and boring.not convincing as an actress
@SPM That all you got? Your more annoying than that Max troll mocking AHS and Revenge
@JJA: I agree. I’m no huge fan of Kristen Kreuk, but I don’t thik she’s the worst problem with the show.
I think the whole premise just doesn’t work well. The title suggests romance and tragedy, and plots don’t deliver either. The show also doesn’t seem to be interested in being a tight, well-paced police procedural. The supernatural elements are just silly enough to be off-putting to adults, but not so over the top that they capture Once Upon a Time’s whimsical appeal. I think it’s best bet was to try to make it a poor man’s Castle, but the dialogue isn’t sharp or witty enough to get away with that.
Woot for POI!
@ John A
Its all you deserve.
Scandal did a little better but I am surprise that it is not doing very well. The show is very good. You watch the episodes from beginning to now to know what it is about. It has the drama and last night’s episode was very good. It keeps it interesting. The show has some very strong women who are lead characters.
CW should have renewed The Secret Circle.
@SPM
OH MY GOD! Get over it! The show wasn’t that good. John A and every single TSC hater is right. The show deserved that cancelation and The CW doesn’t regret a single tear about it. NOBODY DOES! Not even those Ringer crazy fans. They moved on.
