Friday Final TV Ratings: 'Grimm, 'CSI: NY' & 'Blue Bloods' Adjusted Up, 'Dateline' & 'All Access Nashville' Adjusted Down

Grimm, CSI:NY, & Blue Bloods  were each adjusted up a tenth while All Access Nashville and Dateline were each adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus Friday's preliminary ratings.

    Seriously, NBC has got to be grinning ear to ear about Grimm’s success s far this season. The decision to premiere Grimm early, experiment with Mondays, and promote the hell out of the show has really paid off.

    It’s very plausible that Nikita reaches a 0.0(The very first CW show) by May. If the CW still renews with these horrible numbers then my jaw will be on the floor.

    Grimm beat The Office (a 2.0 vs a 1.9).

    Go back 12 months and say that would happen and people would call you crazy.

    @Kavyn – I was getting ready to say the same thing… it’s bad enough to use such a ridiculous, awful, stupid name, but to then spell it wrong just makes it that much more obnoxious.

    Yes Grimm beat SVU and Chicago Fire and the NBC Thursday comedies but they were up against much tougher competition. I think Grimm will do about the same if it were at SVU / CF timeslot.

    Grimm’s success is partly due to Holloween, it will fall a bit next week but it still is performing well for the net. In fact Grimm is stronger then all of NBC’s Wednesday/Thursday players (that says a lot). Grimm is only behind SNF, The Voice, Go On and Revolution…with that said NBC should be happy but I’m sure they aren’t, why? Because they don’t own it, timeslot winner yes, but no syndication value at all…if NBC ever gets back up (and they are on their way) Grimm may be in trouble

    As for CSI:NY, it will still be canceled…sorry but the show is expensive and those numbers are pathetic. CBS has many shows aging that can produce those numbers at a fraction of the cost. Yes syndication is important but it can’t be all that when the far stronger Miami version was let go last season. The Mentalist will stay as a Sunday 10pm tent-warmer and it would not surprise me if The Good Wife were to slide into the 9pm Friday slot next fall. Vegas is toast and Elementary may be back but not on Thursdays (Although my money is on Golden Boy)

    Oh Nikita, CW really are desperate for shows to go into syndication to be happy with a 0.2. What would it get in syndication, 0.0 and 0.0001 viewers?

    Does anyone know if NBC is ever gonna order more episodes for Grimm? It should have at le ast 26 episodes as it is performing great. And i think there gonna go with either a Dracula/ Grimm lineup or Hannibal/ Grimm as Grimm could do great with a compatible lead in.

    So Can anyone tell me why CW’s ratings are always substantially lower than the other major networks? Is it because it is available to less audiences? Why is it that that network can call a 1.2 a success?

    All Access Nashville wrapped up a whole week of ABC promoting Taylor Swift. Are ABC and Swift’s record label owned by the same corporation? The whole week was one big Taylor Swift product placement…

    Not really. CW is available in 97% of US TV households, Fox in 98%, ABC, CBS, NBC in 99% each.
