The average viewership increase From DVR Viewing ranks which of the top broadcast shows [by Live+7 viewers] had the largest absolute increase in average viewership by DVR between the Live + Same Day and Live + 7 day ratings measurements.
Do the Live+7 ratings tell us anything about a show's renewal prospects we didn't already know from the Live+Same Day ratings? No. Click here to learn more.

Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

Interesting to note shows that are absent: Go On, TNN, Partners, The Mindy Project, Ben & Kate.
Bones and New Girl deserve that ratings live.
Its weird that the 9:30 episode of Modern Family had a bigger gain than the one that aired in its regular timeslot.
@Harmiel
You mean the 2.9 (for Bones), right?
With these % increases..this is why 90210 has stayed on the CW and will get that shortened final season.
Further confirmation that Monday @ 10PM remains the most DVR hour on TV
H50 .9 demo and 3.059M viewers
Castle .9 demo and 3.356M viewers
Revolution 1.9 demo and 4.220M viewers
Total. 3.8+ demo and 10.635M Viewers
Good for Hart of Dixie!
@Geordiegirl1967
Remember Supernatural got 1.0 in the second week episode? That means many people actually watched it live. Supernatural usually gets 1.2 – 1.4 in the DVR ratings. Based on the above data, we can assume that Supernatural increased over ~30%, so I am guessing Supernatural would have got 1.3. The usual DVR number.
Hart is not getting canned its DVR ratings are great for the CW and they take DVR ratings in consideration after when a show is in at least its second season. Nikita on the other hand doesn’t have DVR ratings to reley on this season, so the show is dead basically and will probably moved to the summer in 2013 so WB can have their syndication.
Bill or Robert -
Any Live+7 numbers for Arrow, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Beauty And The Beast, thought would at least see Arrow on this list somewhere.
i knew something good had to come out of 90210′s 0.4 rating.
There’s nothing good about a 0.7 rating that includes 7 days of DVR viewings.

and good old Les Says
I see a whopping one reality show in these lists. Networks nd cable cos need to figure out a way to make money on DVR and WE need to stop watching X Factor, Voice, DWTS, etc. Some good shows, based on above, are supposedly on shaky ground

I would think its safer to say that SPN was at a 1.4. As we know that just with live plus 3 SPN viewers increase 32%. SPN has in almost every single week that I have data on going back to season 3, had a higher percentage demo growth then viewer, usually over 10%. (for example last week 75% demo growth versus 54.5 viewer growth.
We know that it wasn’t up to a 1.5 as that would have made the table, but a 1.4 would have been only a 40% increase and thus slightly under the top twenty five (ended at 41.7% percentage growth.
I am trying a couple sources who often, but not always get the full DVR reports, to get confirmation.
Very surprised with those Nashville numbers
@Mark Wood
As we know that just with live plus 3 SPN viewers increase 32%
I didn’t know this! I must have missed the news.
And yeah you might be probably right. Supernatural would have got 1.4.
So it looks like Arrow didn’t bring new viewers to SPN so much as give existing SPN viewers incentive to watch live instead of DVR. I was wondering about that, and hoping this would be the case. New Arrow viewers might not stick around, especially since SPN is in its 8th season. Already loyal fans who are switching to live viewing is a steadier audience.
@Mark Wood
That makes a lot of sense. I’d make the educated guess that 0.2 of viewers who DVred on Oct 3 watched live on Oct 10. So:
Oct 3: 0.8 live +SD plus 0.6 DVR +7 = 1.4
Oct 10: 1.0 live +SD plus 0.4 DVR +7 = 1.4
KS
Actually I was wrong it didn’t improve 32% in viewers in live same day, it was 26%. But I did get the Live Plus 7 days for SPN and we did at least do better then 32%. It was 33% for the full week.
Live plus 7
3.35 Total Viewers 33% increase
1.4 adults 18-49 40% increase
Higher increases in viewers and adults 18-49 then either VD, Arrow or Beauty & the Beast by percentage.
