    Damn. They move it up. There was no other choice.

  • rob60990

    I knew they would do this. So animation comedies return next SUnday?

  • Matthew Chapman

    And if Animation Comedies do return on Sunday will they be the episodes postponed from 21st October

  • TVMAN

    LOL. Fox’s schedule is messed up. Get rid of World Series. It’s only hurting Fox’s shows when they return from the break. Last year New Girl was getting 4.0′s then after World Series it dropped to 3′s. Terra Nova dropped from 3.0′s to 2.’s

  • Mark

    @TVMAN,

    Fox just signed an 8-year deal with MLB, which keeps the World Series on Fox until at least 2021.

  • SJ

    Wow, Fox has got to get rid of baseball before they sink into oblivion. A couple nights of high ratings aren’t worth jumbling the rest of your schedule.

    Are they seriously repeating the half-aired episode from two weeks ago in its entirety, even though it aired in a condensed, 1-hour version last Tuesday? Has it really come to that?

    Also, I’m wondering just by how much they’ll get beaten by the CMAs on Thursday.

  • Samuel

    Ugh, darn. I was hoping the ratings would look good compared to The Voice with Sandy, but no one will be watching on Halloween. Oh well, at least it’s still by far the better show.

  • rob60990

    I think next year FOX is only airing the World Series & All Star Game and not airing ALCS/NLCS.

  • rob60990

    “no one will be watching on Halloween.”

    The ratings declines on Halloween are being greatly exaggerated.

    Has it come to what? There’s no way they were going to put original episodes of Bones/Mob Doctor on tonight at the last minute.

    I’m confused as to what you’re complaining about.

    Most likely.

    “I’m confused as to what you’re complaining about.”

    He is complaining, just to complain!

    And at a minimum of 1 pageview/complaint, I heartily endorse that effort!

  • Samuel

    @Bill, how much do you expect ratings to dip tonight do to Sandy? If Revolution would have gotten a 3.1 (just a guesstimate) without the hurricane, what do you think it will get now?

  • Ultima

    @Matthew Chapman

    There’s a possible exception for The Cleveland Show, which had episodes scheduled for both 21 October and this Sunday.

    “@Bill, how much do you expect ratings to dip tonight do to Sandy? If Revolution would have gotten a 3.1 (just a guesstimate) without the hurricane, what do you think it will get now?”

    No clue. Irrelevant anyway. The show’s a lock for season two.

    Now that CBS & CW are in repeats, pretty much all the Fan Excuse Bingo juice left tomorrow morning are the crazy Castle fans. Oh, what might have been!

  • Anna Clarkwood

    Ultima, put on repeats of Bones/Mob Doctor give Mon night viewers a taste of repeats of Mindy/Ben&Kate or some other comedy block while ppl are hunkered down in their homes.

    Also, the judges are going to eliminate 1 from each category 16-12 in 2hr results on Thursday instead of all in one show like last year? Or, I just thought of this, 9-12 will perform on Wed then the remaining 4-7 the first hour or so then results? I hope they opt for the second. Otherwise, thursdays 2hr result show will be way too long. 1hr is already too long for what could be a commercial break length of time.

  • Ultima

    @Anna Clarkwood

    I’m guessing it will be all 16 perform on Wednesday; on Thursday, announce top 8 safe, bottom 8 perform again, then eliminations.

    I don’t actually watch the show, but that seems like a reasonable format for the two hour results show.

    A couple nights of high ratings aren’t worth jumbling the rest of your schedule.

    Few people pay attention to this jumbling. They just change the channel if their show isn’t on.

  • SJ

    @Ultima

    What I meant was, they could have repeated one of the early audition episodes, not air the same thing for the third time.

    That was the original plan, but I can understand wanting to re-air the previous episode (especially considering the circumstances it originally aired under).

    Also, only parts of it are being aired for the third time! ;)
