Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

YAY once upon a time! and looks like it bested GA as ABC’s top drama of the week.

good for revenge. and 666 park is hanging on at least.

  • jessie

I’m in Maryland, even if Sandy doesn’t cause widespread power outages here all of the local affiliates will preempt network programming for storm coverage. Ratings will be down for everything tonight.

  • Mike

ABC made huge mistake naming show 666. I stated before show even aired many people would not tune in because of the 666. Many people won’t get 666 on license plate and stay away from that number. If show called Park Avenue, it wouldn’t isolate so many viewers. This isn’t crazy talk. Only reality.

  • Cyrax86

Revenge is still doing very well, but 666PA is way too far from the ~2.0 pack of ABC’s 10 pm shows. In a week or two we will find out whether Red Widow or Mistresses replace it in February.

  • Max Vrany

CBS only had football only overran 9 minutes in KC area, Atlanta, Detroit, Pitts, Philly, DC and Chicago, so the CBS numbers should be fairly accurate.

  • Michael

Another great episode of Revenge + 666 Park Avenue. At this point, it’s inevitable that 666 Park Avenue isn’t going to survive, so I’m just enjoying what’s left of it.

  • DW

im thinking max asked out the lead on revenge in high school and she rejected him and he came to this place to release his fury on the world. :)

on the tv front not bad numbers for bad weather on the east coast , football and the giants sweep.

  • JAA

“Nope. The hurricane can potentially have both positive and negative effects. And in the grand scheme of things, the ratings for a single episode are almost irrelevant.”

Bill, there’s nothing positive in having no power to watch your favorite show

  • Dan

Lol this is how Max is getting his own revenge against Revenge…coming on this site to bad mouth a show that’s doing decently in the ratings…obviously he trolling is going to have a HUGE impact on the ratings!

  • s0303

@ romo…mlb didn’t do too bad considering hockey final gets 1.0 :) let’s face it, nothing will beat football…

  • Renven8er

Stop saying Revenge is a flop, Revenge is very steady, ABC will never cancel the show by putting another who will barely do a 2.0%, even if it’s not good as what DH did last year, Revenge is still strong and is the 4th show of ABC ;)

  • Ron

Revemge went down to 2.7 from 2.8, not much of a drop. I think 666 might be in trouble if it stays below 2.0.

  • marcos

revenge very steady. the haters will keep hating and ABC wont care for your sad lives

  • TimsDale4ever

The GOOD WIFE must be an old b!tch cause that show skews old. lol

  • iMember

    Gooooo Revenge! and Once!

I loved Revenge’s episode last night, and the twist at the end was brilliant. I’m loving the great character development that has been going on as well. Next week’s episode is going to be awesome, I know it! Plus, NOVEMBER SWEEPS!

I enjoyed Once Upon A Time last night too! It wasn’t my favorite episode, but like Revenge, the writers are doing a great job with developing Regina’s character.

666 Park Avenue has a GREAT Halloween episode! I wish it was doing better honestly.

  • eridapo

    @ Petar Ivanov

The battle will occur next week (live shows). Today.. The Voice is live against a repeat of XFactor.

Note:.. If Sandy hits as hard as the press says it will, Ratings will be down tomorrow because of local pre-emptions and storm related damage/ evacuations.

  • Hmm

    @ JAA

I agree. The only way I can see a postive is if the power does not go out but people are still stuck indoors watching tv due to the bad weather. Here’s to hoping the power does not go out for everyone!

  • Nope

go MENTALIST: last night was great

  • Bob

Great job Revenge. Max is a one note hit. Max is predictable and boring. Anyway, I think tomorrow, the headline should be, “Thanks a lot Sandy” for the ratings hit that every show will have. I think that would be kind of a funny headline.
