    @coffee Steve. Sounds like the machines were working just fine to me!!! ;)

    Since Mitt’s son has financial interests in these particular machines in OH, one would think they would be calibrated to his daddy war bucks!!

  • Coffee Steve

    @S. Papa

    The firm recently has entered into a partnership with Moody’s Analytics that will change the way the private payroll count is calculated.

    That could be the reason, but how it could have got confused, who knows?

  • Coffee Steve

    @Jeff

    I used one of those touch screen machines before and when I hit the button it lit up like a Christmas Tree LOL. They just turned it off, reset it and it worked fine

    Jobs report will be released on time this Friday.

    My prediction based on reports, 125,000+ jobs created. Unemployment will remain the same or tick up a tenth.

    Of course better news for our country is always embraced! But, not by the GOP it seems. They are hoping for horrible numbers to score a political point.

  • Ratboy

    @ Since Mitt’s son has financial interests in these particular machines in OH, one would think they would be calibrated to his daddy war bucks!!

    OMG!!! Another loon beleives this crap! Did you look how far removed he is from it? Something like 7 levels away and NO control. :lol:

  • Ratboy

    Hell I might own some of them machines if i checked my investments!!!! :shock:

  • Coffee Steve

    @Ratboy

    I really don’t like or use Dick Morris much, but I will admit he was the only one that predicted the Mid-Term gains that actually happend, thought you may wish to read this from him.

    “Eight GOP takeaways and two giveaways for a net gain of six. A 53-47 Senate, just like we have now, only the GOP will be in the majority.”

    I thought he was nuts predicting a 60 seat gain in 2010, but it was even alittle higher than that.

    BBL….

  • Ratboy

    @ My prediction based on reports, 125,000+ jobs created. Unemployment will remain the same or tick up a tenth.

    ??????? if September was half as good as reported and at 88k and only 125k created and it stays the same or ticks up a 10th, then they are cooking the books!!!!!!!

    It was said last month that more than likely the number would return to the 8.1 or 8.2 anyway this month because of the way the numbers played last month.

  • dana

    Take into acct:: Seasonal temporary help for xmas has been ongoing this last month and could possibly affect this weeks figures…

  • Coffee Steve

    Just being found out.

    Remember Now… “We first must pass the bill before we can see what’s in the Bill…” Nancy Pelosi

    How you can avoid the Obamacare Tax in 14 months

    *In just 14 months, Americans will be required to prove that they have federally “qualified” health insurance or face an Obamacare tax of $695 to $2,085. That is unless you are in prison, below the poverty line, or are an undocumented immigrant, according to the anti-tax group Americans for Tax Reform.

    When added together, those three groups total up to one-sixth of the nation’s population of 314 million: 218,929 are in federal prisons, 12 million are illegals and 42 million are below the poverty line and eligible for welfare, though some fit into all three categories, according to federal reports.

    :roll:

  • Coffee Steve

    @dana & Rats

    The projected numbers I seen have it about the same, BUT, if they include the California numbers left out last month, it could be slightly worse. But look for about the same kind of reports.

    And honestly? Either way it isn;t going to change anyones mind at this point.

  • dana

    Coffee:: BUT…Obama keeps harping about trajectory and trending…if it ticks up , it shows we are sliding backwards right before the election and Romney will tee that baby up and drive it down the fairway for 300 yds…

    In MHO, The White House is digging a hole they may not be able to climb out of. Did you know that one guy arrested in the Libya attack was transfered to Tunisia?

    Ali Ani al Harzi, who was detained at a Turkish airport in the days following the attack for travelling with false documents, has now been transferred to Tunisia, where U.S. interrogators are unable to reach him.

    One reason is “Once the president in January of 2009 signed the executive order, saying we are going to shut down Guantanamo … there are no policies in place to take possession and interrogate him in a way to gain valuable information.”

    So now, we can’t even question him. Great Policy huh?

    Romney will tee that baby up and drive it down the fairway for 300 yds

    One good thing is it can only be harmful to Obama, and if it slightly better, no effect on Romney

    @USN

    Well according to Gallup the Unemployment is at 7.1%, so I doubt that we’re going to have a rate over 8%
