    Thank you AGAIN Joe!

    Biden: ‘I’m Going to Give You the Whole Load Today’

    At a campaign event, Vice President Joe Biden promised “to give … the whole load today”:

    “As they say in my business, I’m going to give you the whole load today,” said Biden

    Coffee Dude, Media-ite is finally back up!

  • Coffee Steve

    Yep, just now seen that, man you’re goooooood.

    I gatta take a shower, coffee steve this morning set up 5 canopy’s One stage, carried 10 tables, and 100 chairs, and carried a HUGE Sat dish we’re using as a giant Fire Ring for a bonefire, so you can imagine what I smell like :mrgreen:

    If Romney was so great as the Governor of Massachusetts, why is it that he’s losing so badly in the very state that elected him?

  • Ratboy

    Coffee, earlier today we received an Obama robocall on our buisness line. I called my local dnc buddy and left him a message. He just called me back. he said that “Chicago” contacted select offices in Michigan and told them to load up the local phone lists for the robo calls. They told Chicago that it would be about 6 hours at which time “Chicago went nuts”! Tehy told them NOW so here they did not have time to set up all the filters. I dont know how it all works but I guess they filter buisness out somehow. He said there was nothing but screaming an yelling in the background when they wer on the phone with Chicago and the person they were talking to was less than nice!

    He also said to plan on having your door knocked on over the weekend as they have been instructed to do thousands and thousands of door knocks.

    His final worsd to me was “You guys suck! You just made my life hell for the next week!” :lol:

    @Coffee Steve

    “Dem Early Vote Lead In Florida Down 70% Over 2008

    Maybe has something to do with this:

    Snow Birds might be afraid to vote in their home state and FL now…

  • usnretiredx2

    @Coffee Steve & dana

    It’s my understanding, unless it’s changed, and USN may be better to answer this, But after the initial attack and only after the first assessment would the President even been brought in.

    –True, he would have been notified directly after any Official Office was aware of the attack happening.

    In other words, if a force were close they could have went in,

    —Yes and no, If let say a Military Base on one side of town was under attack and there was another one on the other side, the base commanders could not just go help, the regional commander would have to say go for it.

    –The same would apply in Libya but harder it was between State Department and CIA. The Joint Commander of that is Obama.

    but after time and if they were considering a larger response the order could ONLY have come from the President

    –Any response greater from another Gov Branch would require Obama input.

    Because even though it was on American Soil we would have needed to ask permission to use their air space or decide not to ask and chance it

    –Yes we would “if time allowed”. If not we would do it anyway. Have in the past and will again in the future.

    So my question would be if he did order the stand down, Fine, that’s his call, but if he didn’t who did and why?

    –Mine too…..

  • usnretiredx2

    @Coffee Steve

    “Because even though it was on American Soil we would have needed to ask permission to use their air space or decide not to ask and chance it”

    I bet we did not ask permission to fly the drones in……..

    I guess this validates my post from the other day

    RNC flush with cash for endgame blitz

    Little time to spend it all

    A late surge of support and months of restrained spending have left the Republican National Committee flush with cash with little time to spend it — $68 million as of Oct. 17, which was nearly seven times the amount the Democratic National Committee had in the bank.

    Adding in the cash from other presidential campaign committees, the mismatch still was stark: $156 million for Mitt Romney and his GOP allies to $94 million for President Obama and his allies. State Republican parties also had 50 percent more cash than their Democratic counterparts, according to an analysis by The Washington Times.

    It’s likely that means a surge of GOP spending is coming. What’s unclear is what form it will take, and RNC officials declined to tip their hand.

  • usnretiredx2

    Hey bubba

    Voted yesterday, but unlike you my vote may or will make a difference since I live in Hillsborough County, FL. An area that Obama sweeped through in 2008.

  • Mark2

    Brand New Poll:

    Ohio/Univ of Cincinnati

    Obama = 48%
    Romney = 46%

  • Coffee Steve

    Goes along with my visits last week at the DNC, they really are concerned with Romney having a background there and his dad being popular there, that it may in fact go to Romney.

    Thanks USN for the info. And you’re right, I bet the drones flew without asking.

    @It’s likely that means a surge of GOP spending is coming. What’s unclear is what form it will take, and RNC officials declined to tip their hand.

    What happens is corps that previously gave to Obama are now hedging their bets just in case. Romney has money to burn, Obama no longer has it, he wasted it on the make Romney look evil ad’s and it backfired.

  • Coffee Steve

    Romney look evil ad’s and it backfired

    Remember many moons ago when I posted (The day Romney won the nomination right before the primaries were over, a memo said from the DNC “We must kill and destroy Romney Quickly”)

    With this economy and high gas dude, that’s all they had to go with.

  • Ratboy

    @ Brand New Poll:

    Ohio/Univ of Cincinnati

    BRAND NEW brand new poll

    Joe’s Fish Market/Vito’s barber Shop Poll

    Romney 62
    Obama 7
    the pile of hair on Vito’s floor 29
    undecided drunk

  • Coffee Steve

    This is very interesting

    *Pew: Majority of Mitt Voters ‘For Romney’ Instead of ‘Against Obama’

    In Pew’s June survey, 58% of those who said they were voting for Romney said their votes were against Obama while only 38% said their votes were for Romney. In Pew’s most recent survey released this week, 57% of Romney’s voters now say their votes are affirmative votes for Romney while only 39% said their votes were against Obama.

    As Pew explained, this is yet more proof of how much the dynamics of the presidential race shifted after the first presidential debate.

    Here’s a weird one, A Virgina poll is using a D+8: Romney is +21 Among Indies, But Obama Up Two Overall? So if it shifts to actually be a +3 GOP vote you can deduct 8 and Romney ahead by 5? :-)

    Later Gators, have a great FUN and Safe evening, we don’t do the Halloween thingy but do the Reformation Day thing, it is a religious holiday celebrated on October 31st or the last weekend in October in remembrance of the Reformation.

    Peace and Grace All.

  • Sam

    @ Papa,

    “What is this treason talk. I never accused the President of a treasonous act.

    I contend he failed to act. I also contend that he tried to cover up his failure. He choked under pressure and that is something all the public should know. We should know the details of the cover up.

    Sam the reason we don’t know more, and we know a lot, is no one is talking in the White House. Few with the exception of FOX News are even asking any questions.”

    Fair enough, and BTW I watch Fox’s “witch hunt” on Libya so i’m informed of what they are saying. I actually see it as an act of despeeration from the right since they can’t talk about Romney’s unethical record in business nor his lack of experience in leadership and all signs shows that Obama’s policies are working economically , so they have to dig and find something against president BO to repeat over and over hopefully it’ll confuse some voters in swing states.

  • Ratboy

    David Axelrod Will Shave Off His Mustache If Obama Loses Any Of These Three States…

    Senior Obama adviser David Axelrod appeared on Morning Joe, where he discussed the president’s chances of winning key battleground states, as well as those states they’re confident about. Illustrating how serious he was about his assertion, Axelrod said he’d shave off his mustache if Obama lost three particular states.

    Those states being Minnesota, Michigan or Pennsylvania.

  • Bobbyv

    I think the jobs numbers on Friday could have a big impact. If the rate goes above 8 I think it will allow Romney to turn everything back to the economy.

  • usnretiredx2

    I see Mark2 and Sam is up and about so I will repost.

    Just read some of the transcripts from Hannity.

    Some questions come to mind.

    One. Can someone out there tell me why 2 US Navy Seals would not ask for air support when in a life or death situation at least once and if it was over a 7 hour time frame many, many times?

    Come on Mark’s, Sam, someone tell me why they would not?

    Now Two. Being US Navy Seals can someone out there tell me why they would not have the training and skills in calling out targets to a pin point accuracy?

    Again Mark’s, Sam, someone tell me why they would not be able to?

    Last but not least can someone tell me why with a laser designator 2 US Navy Seal could not guide down a laser guided bomb on a specific target dropped from a high flying Jet that was only an hour or so away?

    One last time Mark’s, Sam, someone tell me why they would not be able to?

  • Ratboy
