So much for double digit gains and season highs

  2. daniel

    The Voice still huge

  3. LT

    So this list means nothing?

  4. John A

Back to average Castle ratings. Its still doing ok.

  5. jake3988

Considering how many people were without power, those are pretty impressive numbers. Even for CBS’ repeats.

  6. Oliver

They adjusted down less than I expected. I guess having reduced competition counteracts local preemptions.

  7. Mon

Season premiere of 2 Broke Girls repeated well. Castle did well considering its original episods were rated the same. Revolution was good last night. I don’t like the 4-month hiatus. I’m this close to giving up on the show and then this?

  8. Melanie

Revolution still at 3.0 — I think its safe to call it a hit.

  9. PV

GG and 90210 still did better than Nikita. I mean, they’re awful rated, but even they repeats can do better thgan Nikita. Nikita needs to go, sorry fans.

  10. eridapo

So basically last night did not happen. Will these go into the cancellation index?

  11. Baqinardo

LOL @ ABC got adjusted more than NBC.
I heard that NBC gonna air The Voice repeat on Wednesday too.

  12. John A

Wow the x factor repeats badly. Partners repeats decently thats about what a new ep would get.

What does “breakout” mean? Just seeing lots of B’s next to the program listings?
Haha, everything was adjusted down. At least it won’t count towards the average anyway.

  14. GARY

I was estimating 2.0-2.1 for Castle so good news I guess.

  15. soso

x factor ratings are ! even if it repeat

  16. Petar Ivanov

NBC make big mess almost like FOX did it with theie random schedule.

Now for people in NY, NJ and so on:
The voice will rerun in thursday 8-10pm!
    Revolution will rerun friday 8pm
30 rock will air original wednesday 8.

This is for NOW. Let see what will NBC think later.

  17. “So this list means nothing?”

Of course it means something. It shows how many people watched those programs.

The season average rating for a particular show is a lot more heavily influenced by how many *repeats* it airs (plus the occasional “special” designation), so they end up being just PR numbers for individual shows.

To head off the coming question, yes, I will use that Castle and Revolution in my Renew/Cancel Index calculations!

  18. Liam

Castle still did well. Tied its season high. Given that many didnt see Castle live this week, I am hoping for an increase in ratings next week.

  19. John A

@PV in fairness CW were promoting them as new all week and at the last minute decided to air repeats. I know Nikita is a flop but not fair to compare the two.

  20. Oliver

This is a joint-season high for The Voice, up from 4.3 last week. NBC made the right decision not preempting their programming.

I think they’re making the wrong decision preempting Thursday.
