Castle did pretty well considering all those who had no power in the Northeast

  • Dude

Well, just like i said, half a point down for castle. :) still ok ratings.

  • PV

@John A Got it. But still, better than Nikita that was actually a new episode. :P I believe they would get a .2 at least for a repeat, even without promotion, that’s the same of Nikita.

  • tv#1

At least Revolution still hit a 3.0, which is pretty good considering all other factors. Hopefully next week it is able to rise a bit.

  • Mr Mumble

NBC’s figures are very similar to what you’d expect for a Monday. Heck, CBS’s repeats are better than you’d expect. The people without power were canceled out by the people with power who had to stay inside.

Now for people in NY, NJ and so on:
The voice will rerun in thursday 8-10pm!
    Revolution will rerun friday 8pm
30 rock will air original wednesday 8.

This is for NOW. Let see what will NBC think later.

It looks like NBC is running with that schedule nationally.

Also, how was FOX’s schedule random? Baseball ended, they had to air something with absolutely zero promotion.

  • John A

@PV 90210 repeated at 0.1 a few times so did GG.

  • John A

Nikita wont be cancelled until end of season 4 unfortunally.

  • EatMorePez

Pretty good for Castle and Revolution all things considered. And they were probably helped by the fact that they started right at half time of the not very competitive Monday Night Football game.

  • PV

@John A Indeed, it won’t. And I think it may happen the same with Hart Of Dixie. It will fall a lot on season 3, just like Nikita, and they may keep it until 88 episodes.

  • Nope

    good for CASTLE

  • MDM

I knew that Castle rating was way too high. Revolution still strong. Good day.

  • James C.

Rerun of Partners = New Partners rating?

  • JR

Some of those numbers aren’t far off from season averages, so why not count em?

  • Petar Ivanov

@ NBC made the right decision not preempting their programming.

Well millions of people in NY, NJ and Northeast don’t think so. Just go in Revolution facebook page too see how many people are angry at NBC. Also they must respect the nature. Not to mention that NY is best market too. This was greedy, stupid decision. They today announces their schedule. I guess they was arrogant enough not to change it. That is all about.
These days people lives are nothing for broadcast networks. Ads are EVERYTHING!

Wow, still fantastic for NBC, for both shows. Revolution not yet fallen below a 3.0 (although it fell below 8 mil viewers), and The Voice at a season 8, when usually at this time in the season it’s already below a 4.0. God, NBC must be ecstatic right now. I think they’re making the right moves. The Voice repeat will likely do a 2.0-2.5, and 30 Rock is an election episode, so it also makes sense. What they’re going to do about the rest of the comedies, though, I have no idea, considering they’re all Halloween episodes, aren’t they? At least Go On and The New Normal are, and they will also be preempted next Tuesday.

I understand that the all-powerful demo #s are what get paid attention to (although, I still struggle sometimes to understand why the 18-22 yr olds who probably have very little money to actually buy the stuff that’s advertised mean so much…). But it does strike me as a bit interesting that as big a “hit” as Revolution is….it garnered only .03 more total viewers than CBS airing the news special on the storm. Again, I know that demo is king…but it still befuddles me that shows can garners millions more viewers week in and week out and yet, they are on the edge of cancellation. Just one of those things that will remain a mystery, I guess. :)

Bill gorman what shows do you watch?

  • catocony

Most of us from DC to Boston had power last night. However, most of our NBC stations preempted regular programming to run the news all evening. All the networks did, at least in DC. So, last night’s numbers are a real jumble since some networks kept their regularly programing nationally and CBS didn’t.
