    Castle/DWTS adjustment didn’t really surprise me… especially DWTS. Look forward to getting Bones back next week

    As long as HOD doest drop this season it will probably last 4 seasons.

    @JR
    Some of those numbers aren’t far off from season averages, so why not count em?

    I’m sure CBS doesn’t want last night to count.

  • Baaa!

    Not bad for Castle considering all the Sandy mess. The 2.7 was fun though, really got the trolls in an uproar. I’ll still treat it as a wonky rating somewhat, but its not out of line with its season’s performance.

    You are the product not the customer. The advertisers are the customers and the networks give them the product they want.

    As I noted, the season averages for individual shows are PR valuable only.

    Good lord who keeps employ Josh Schwartz? he now has 3+ flop tv shows…and flop movie that will be out of theaters next week

    @Petar
    Well millions of people in NY, NJ and Northeast don’t think so. Just go in Revolution facebook page too see how many people are angry at NBC. …This was greedy, stupid decision.

    To be blunt, people are stupid. What’s your point?

    It’s not like NBC could push The Voice back a week. They already have the finale airing the week before Christmas.

    Also, they’re rebroadcasting their entire Monday lineup during the week.

    Scripted programming is easy to reschedule (as networks have a dozen preemptions and/or repeats already); it’s very hard to schedule shuffle these reality competitions, especially when you’re a week out from live shows.

    I really don’t see how shows didn’t go down more. There is no way that some of these shows did that well when many states could not watch them.

    Revolution 4 months hiatus is crazy big mistake. After The voice is over they must put it at 8 pm in Mondays. Only RVN DVR rating – 2.1 demo, beat all NBC scripted shows(without go on) Why they will wait for March 25? If is for May sweeps is crazy. In April/May will be biggest 10 pm declines.
    Also RVN is killing h5o and castle NOW. They will go up again without RVN there.

    @Mark

    Well, more people stayed inside so it’s not a surprise.

  • Jay

    The voice still huge!!

    There was a positive effect from the storm that mostly countered the negative effect. People were basically forced to sit in their homes last night.

    For more evidence of this, I heard earlier that Netflix was up 20% on the night.

    What’s the difference between “breakout” and “special”? Both don’t count towards season averages.

    What’s the difference between “breakout” and “special”?

    One has a (B) next to it, the other has an (S).

  • Guy

    :/ NBC really shouldn’t preempt Thursday with these ratings… if anything, just show tonight’s comedies instead of Wednesday’s tomorrow.

  • Richard Steven Hack

    I agree a four month hiatus for Revolution is just stupid, despite its good ratings. When it comes back, it will be well under the 3.0 it got this week.

    This week’s Revolution was pretty good compared to most of the episodes. Zak Orth did a pretty good job. Nonetheless, the show is still dragging out the overall premise of the blackout and a four month hiatus will only accentuate that.

    The Castle episode was excellent. A decent villain for a change.

  • LOL

    Where are the people that said The Voice was going to be adjusted down by a huge amount? You guys were proven wrong yet again.

  • Mari

    This still look like average numbers… Oh well at least good numbers for Castle and Revolution.

    @ Yep. I agree. But most of tham watch news. And still only new york is how many 10 millions….and no of tham really count. So the The Weather Channel was big last night. Only winner.

    Interesting how many days the storm will affect networks. With sure is not over.
