The Nielsen fast affiliate ratings for Monday night will be delayed until further notice. No word on why as yet.
Update: *Due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy, Nielsen has delayed the Fast Affiliate Ratings for Monday, October 29. Fast Affiliate Ratings are now scheduled to be released later today around 1:00PM ETZ.
Update 2: The Friday cable ratings still have not arrived from Nielsen at our regular source. We will post them when they do.
No word either on how long this delay may last, but composing haiku in the meantime can be quite calming.
Update 3: now posted.
Mob Doctor still on,
despite terrible ratings,
It's the accountants.
Go for it.

Don’t quite understand why CBS was the only one to air storm coverage. If I had wanted to watch coverage instead of H50 I could have just as easily watched CNN here in the midwest. Lots of people ticked off. If they had reported anything that hadn’t been said multiple times before….but it wasn’t anything new so in my opinion really didn’t need to be on. They had already delayed our local 6 pm news for extra half hour of national reporting.
“Another hype & dud like Irene.”
Nah, this storm flooded lower Manhattan, and topped multi-century high water levels there. Flooded the subways, and the tunnels. Shut down NYSE trading for two days.
26 dead and rising. Massive damage in NJ, NY, CT, etc. The storm was hyped and forecasted perfectly.
DC was wall-to-wall news yesterday. I don’t think any of the networks showed regular programming.
“Don’t quite understand why CBS was the only one to air storm coverage.”
Because all CBS Monday shows are run through the year and have plenty of repeat dates that can be replaced with the new episodes that were postponed. ABC & NBC had DWTS and The Voice which run without repeats, and postponing them hoses their schedule.
I’m in Philly and the CW didn’t show repeats of 90210 or GG..they decided to air HIMYM repeats instead.
“Mob Doctor still scheduled” is six syllables.
I can’t wait to see how Revolution fared. I love this show. I hope both Revolution and Castle stay steady, no matter how hopeless that sounds.
“Mob Doctor still scheduled” is six syllables.”
Bah! No wonder my career as an haiku poet cratered! Edited!

@Bill Gorman
Just an FYI – many of the 18-49 ratings in the “Broadcast Top 25″ are out of sync with the daily final numbers.
Schedule now is hosed
Manhattan under water
Fans delusional
“Just an FYI – many of the 18-49 ratings in the “Broadcast Top 25? are out of sync with the daily final numbers.”
We’ll check on that.
@ Bill
Your haiku started w/ Mob Doctor is still on, which in fact, is 5 syllables
That career may still be in your future
I’m sure the networks aren’t going to base any decisions on shows with a weak viewership – I predict repeats of key shows this weekend.
@ Ultima
Bill is always so on it!

My edited haiku!

Storm or no storm, a single episode’s ratings a month after the season has begun is nearly irrelevant.
Haiku career over
Long before it had started
Bill keep his day job

Say it ain’t so! Myopism is the driving force behind the comments… without it, we only have delusion!
