Once again in the 8pm Thursday death slot. Put it in a timeslot where it isn’t up against the #3 and #4 shows on broadcast television (TBBT and Idol) and it would do fine.
It’s Feb sweeps, so that’s good. However, it looks like it’s just going to be sacrificed against BBT again, so…not so good. I wonder if they made holiday episodes. Christmas in April, anyone?

Well, that’s okay! At least now I have mucho de time to catch up – not that I have the patience to wait. Now that I’ve finally begun to watch (and enjoy) this one, I’m gonna fast-track it so I will be done with it by (hopefully) Thanksgiving…looks like a fun November for me!
Consider this a “dumping” by NBC. They will air 13 episodes and cancel it. A shame they never tried it in another time slot like every other sit com on NBC not named The Office got to do.

Just saw the NBC mid-season release (it will get posted shortly) – Feb 7 is definitely official date for Community. Also Deception Jan 7, 1600 Penn Jan 10, Smash Feb 5.

Community’s ratings have always merited renewal and the NBC execs who developed it and renewed it in its first two years have all been fired.
The Greenblatt administration put it on hiatus, renewed it for a 13 episode season (solely for syndication), fired the show-runner and are now going to cancel the show. I guess we should just be thankful that he isn’t trying to turn it into a multicam.
The future of NBC is Guys With Kids and Whitney. They peacock comedy.
