    Goodbye GG …XOXO

  • GG Fan

I really hope the show can hit a 1.0 for the finale, but considering the ratings this season and last season if it could get a 0.8 I would be happy enough.

Since some are giving their opinions on each season Im gonna chime in:
Season 1: The Golden years of the show. Brilliant start to the series. The season as a whole was amazing.
Season 2: I liked it but I felt it was too long (25 episodes). I still enjoyed it but there was way to much going on in the season.
Season 3: A great improvement on season 2. As the season progressed it got better and better.
Season 4: The best season of the entire series. I think it is even better than season 1. Loved the Julier storyline and the Dan and Blair one also.
Season 5: In Ireland we are only up to 5-19, but so far the season has been very good. Not as great as season 4, but the season started off a bit rocky but as it went on it has gotten better and better. Cant wait to see how it ends.
And Season 6: Dont know whe it will start in Ireland but hopefully in Jan 2013. I really hope the final season will be great and will go out with a bang.

Good to see the CW give a six-season show a proper send off. Hope all the followers are appeased.

GOODBYE GG! I am so gonna love this

Really don’t like it when The CW does this. They promote it was “two-hour series finale” on air and people think it’s two hours of episodes. Last year One Tree Hill’s episode aired from 8:45-10:00PM, people who want to watch the episode only will have no idea when to tune in.

    and @Ronnie

    Lol, you’re obviously joking.

  • Tyler

I can’t even fathom how some people expect this show to get a 0.8 for the finale, let alone a 1.0
It’ll be lucky to get a 0.6, in my opinion. I’m not saying the show is good or bad, I’m only speaking of the ratings.

wow, finally over. it’s unfortunate to see that…the crazy chinese no-brainer blair&chuck girl shippers are gonna CRY THEIR ASSES OFF!!!

CW should have ended it earlier and saved timeslot for any show (anyone is better plot-wise, even hellcats/TSC or something like that)

  • javier

    @tyler
i think it’s a miracle that it got more than 0.7. nobody except those crazy hardcore fans actually care about what finally happens to those so-called real-love couples
maybe the finale viewer can be a little bit more than 1m,but that’s it IMO
let me post the chinese viewership in the official legitimate GG online watching website later…the ratings are like soaring horrible high, CW can just live on CHINA FANS.

    Finally – ending the gossip!

  • alexjones

thank god this show is finally ending.

  • CH2164

it says 2 hours does that actually mean with commercials? or does the episode just run for 55mins? o_O

I felt the show was really good when they featured Tika Sumpter as Raina, and Michael Boatman as Russell Thorpe. Too bad it ended badly for Russell as I really wanted to see more of the Thorpes. Have missed Raina eversince. The dumb blonde replacement the following season that is still haunting this show today is what made me decide to tune out. GG used to be so good. I will watch on occasion just to see what is going on but its just not the same, nor is it interesting. I will watch the season finale for sure to pay homage to a once great show. And oh…Chuck’s mother revelation…for me…what a let down.

  • Greg

And PS…just end the show with Chuck coming out of the closet already. Jeez.
