   Now it is all about the ground game my friend and all the polls and all the spin does not mean a thing! Robo calls are rampant in wisc ( I just talked to my niece who live there (nephews and thier kids all over the state too)and they are 4 – 1 Romney) Robo calls are 3 – 1 romney in Mn (her son lives there) They are running about even from what I am getting in Mi. And she was going to call a friend in Iowa to see what is going on there. She also said that the streets look just like they did with the walker recall. People wearing Romney buttons knocking on doors all over the place. Unions are holding local rallies but not knocking on doors.

   Good point, I also got an email from a reporter up there at my former sister station a while ago (he leans left but is a fantastic Journalist) He said the GOP ground game is un-believable; in fact he blames the fact that Romney can win on the re-call. He said the GOP would not have had the mechanism in place if not for the recall. He thinks they are doing much better than Obama’s people.

   Keeping the faith in Michigan. Just reviewed county results from 2008 and I’m wondering to what degree they are used in crunching poll numbers??

   In 2008 Obama had a clear win in two large counties in particular that I would bet a 100 Grand (candy bar from my kids trick or treat bag) that he will lose by very large margins this time around…Oakland (373K-O to 277K-McC) and Kent (150k-o to 148-McC)…Obama will be crushed in these counties this time. My own county, Macomb is a tougher call (224K-O to 188K-McC) and typically leans more Dem. But enthusiam was very, VERY high for O in 2008 and almost non existent now. Wayne county (Detroit plus surrounding) will go O, but economy is so bad, enthusiam has got to be way down there too…

   Coffee-I like your prediction, but I add 16 for Romney!

   Michigan has went Democrat since 1992. I am not saying Romney can’t win Penn and Mich but the only way he does is if their is a landslide where he slaughters Obama in the electoral count and those electoral votes are meaningless.
