'CBS Sunday Morning' Was The Number 1 Sunday Morning News Program in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 28, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.8/10 with 5.25m viewers and 1.3/06 in adults 25-54.


CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best deliveries in both households and viewers since April 22, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +6% in households (from 3.6/10) and +1% in viewers (from 5.19m) compared to the same day last year.


Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up slightly in viewers (5.09m from 5.07m) and was even in both households (3.6/10) and adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.


Sunday’s broadcast featured Susan Spencer’s cover story on superstitions, Anthony Mason’s profile of Grammy-winning singer Norah Jones and Rita Braver’s visit with former President Bill Clinton.


CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the Executive Producer.
