NBC's 'Rock Center' Rises 18 Percent Among Adults 18-49

From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Voice" scored a 1.3/3 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall. In total viewers, it's NBC's biggest audience in the time period since September 27. From its first half-hour to its fourth, the "Voice" encore grew by 27 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.1).

    NBC sure loves this show a lot more than viewers do. I know it’s cheap to make, but come on. At least they’re moving it mid-season.

    Where are they moving it, and, more importantly, what are they replacing it with?

    Chances are the ratings for “Rock Center” went up for one reason:

    Hurricane Sandy.

    I didn’t watch the show, but I suspect most (if not all) of the show was devoted to reports on the storm’s aftermath, although there may have also been a segment on the final days of the election campaign.
