Well GH has been rockin’ like Dokken! Any Quartermaine fans out there? Today’s episode was so good. Loved every scene! Keep it coming!

  • LynTX

I am a Y&R fan that is truly concerned about the direction of this show. I’m trying to sit tight and give the new regime time to turn things around. But initial ‘peeks at s/ls to come’ isn’t helping to get and keep me as a regular viewer.

Oh well – just glad there are House, NCIS and Law & Order reruns on the cable networks.

@MBmomof3 I mean, I have nothing! Can’t do ABC.com when I have no internet and no power to charge my laptop. I’m on the 8th day and they’re saying another 3-10. Those of you not on the east coast have no idea how devastating this storm was. Almost as bad, if not on par with, Kristina. They are not publicizing it but the bodies are piling up. One washed up on my buddys street yesterday. There’s a holding facility where they are placing them. I wonder if tomorrows election has anything to do with why they are covering it up.

  • MBmomof3

@jonboyelk, I am so sorry. I can’t even imagine. Prayers, healing thoughts and ((hugs)) to you and all those affected. Donated to the Red Cross, but it sounds like you all need more. Best to you and yours.

  • Kayla Rae

I couldn’t agree with you more, Chrisann. Most certainly, some of what Susan expressed was indeed hate-filled, bigoted and discriminatory. Yes, she has a right to her opinion, however, that does not mean she has a right to trample upon the rights of others who do not fit in with her narrow opinion of what is considered “normal.” I wonder if she even realizes that in nature it has been confirmed that some non-human animal individuals are, in fact, homosexual. I suppose she considers them evil as well. Shame on her for her self-righteousness. It’s about time small-minded folks wake up and accept the rights of others who may not fit into their wee world view.

  • Kayla Rae

Looking forward to Obama winning tomorrow!

  • Kayla Rae

Can anyone imagine thinking that it would be ok for anyone to express the opinion that African Americans, for example, were “not normal,” etc.. People would rightfully be appalled! We should be just as appalled at intolerance of the LGBT community and their equal rights (ie. to marry, etc.) as we are of discrimination against African Americans, women, etc.

  • Chrisann D

Jonboyelk, I am so sorry for all you folks on the East coast are having to go through. Mother nature has sure been unkind. I can’t imagine being without electricity for as long as some of you have. Hope things get better real soon.

NBC and Days are doing things right. Sonny and Will’s storyline is causing conversation. There are 2 pages on this site regarding the storyline. People are talking. Now maybe Will and Sonny should have a mystery to solve or have another gay character try to break them up so he can have one of them for himself. Days is pushing the envelope with Will and Sonny WOW. Other storylines for other characters have also been fantastic. Welcome to the 21st century. Ileene Davidson welcome back. Lucas welcome back we have all missed you. Bo my heart misses you already–Peter you were great. Kristen probably misses you as her other half. Great. Great. Great Wow. Best show ever.

  • Kayla Rae

You’re right, @cab, Days is truly doing a FANTASTIC job! Best soap on the air by far!

  • MBmomof3

I agree with cab. 10 years from now I suspect many Americans will be like, a gay couple? What’s the big deal? Let’s hope once this great “coming out” storyline moves forward it isn’t the most interesting thing about this couple. I also agree that Kristen and Lucas are probably my two favorite characters right now. Peter Reckel is a big loss; Bo & Hope were my favorite DOOL supercouple. Many positives on DOOL right now. Best it has been in years.

LyntX I hear you loud and clear. I’m trying to be patient but I’m having doubts as well. Y&R is just incredibly boring now — even more so than before. For the life of me I cannot understand why the new regime didn’t jump on Paul’s story and wrap it up combined with what happened to Daisy. It’s ridiculous to me to think that a new EP and HW could come on a show and not address the most important story points at the time they enter the show. Why would you do that?

Kayla Rae, I think the intolerance of the LGBT community is based in deep religious beliefs. It’s not a sin to be African American, but homosexuality according to God is a sin and I think that’s where the issue of acceptance is. You can’t believe/follow/worship God and at the same time continuously ignore his laws. It just doesn’t work that way. Sorry, it’s HIS rules — not mine. But having said all of that I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings or belittle anyone over this issue either.

    GH is on fire!!
    I am so happy!

  • sunny14u

I am a long time ABC soap fan. I use to watch GH, One life to live, and AMC in its glory days. Over the past 10 years AMC and GH lost my interest. Now that GH has been smart enough to cross one life to live with GH, and bring back fan favorites, its again taking on some of its lost glory. I would love to see a little more from Landview PA in Port Charles. I hope there will be a story line that resolves the Victor and Todd conflict in the near future. Keep up the great work GH, you certainly have rewon me over.

DOOL really sucks now, so tired of losing my lunch with will/sonny. Love how you people think we should open our minds as wide as your anuses will be opened. Unnatural and always will be no matter how many names you call us. and to Kayla Rae -your in the alternate universe since there are more of us who are pro-Christ and not pro-gay, all I have to say is REPENT before it is too late!

  • Chrisann D

@ Cat. Thank you. You have made me so happy I am an Atheist.

@Susan, ITA with you, my mom has watched for 50 years and is totally grossed out. Of course, she went through this with ATWT as well, but you’ll notice ATWT has been cancelled. Hmmm. And DAYS ratings are on the bottom. What a coincidence! The haters can bash us all they want, but there are at LEAST as many of us as there are of them.
Especially in the “red” states and “blue” suburbs. And we don’t want to watch this. We especially don’t like the way DAYS is making the gay supporters look saintly and the Christians look bad. I love DAYS, I myself have watched for 25 years, more if you count the years watching at my mother’s knee – there is NO WAY she would have left the TV on with me in the room if DAYS had gay sex scenes then, and that’s what’s coming. Next week, in fact. If DAYS gains in the ratings, I’ll shutup. But I’ve seen the other soaps that had gay storylines gradually lose more and more viewers, until they were all cancelled. I don’t want to see DAYS cancelled. But if it does, I know you all will blame it on something else (shrug).

  • Chrisann D

My apologies if my earlier comment offended anyone of faith. I guess given the recent legalizing of gay marriage in Maine and Maryland has brought out the worst in anti gay rights people.Clearly not all feel like cat. I believe she is the exception and not the rule when it comes to people of faith.

I just don’t get Y&R and their missed opportunities. The long running character Jill has returned since summer I think, and the very first scene they have her on, she shows up at the atletic club/bar. ??? Why not have her go home for the first scene to get settled and unload, and have a scene or 2 with Katherine at the house catching up on things since she’s been gone. She could run into Tucker at the bar the next episode. The flow of the show would just be so much better and would make more sense.

  • Pat

First of all, I have to say that I am totally relieved that we have a sane Democratic President in the White House for four more years. Let’s keep moving our country forward. I am shocked (being a gay male) that in 2012 people are still up in arms over a gay storyline? Really? I don’t watch Days, didn’t see the storyline on ATWT and also didn’t watch OLTL, but I keep waiting to have a full fledged story on Y and R. I was thrilled when they introduced Rafe and treated him as just another character, but he really wasn’t ever central to story. The reintroduction of Phillip as gay (played by a gay male) was bold for Y and R who some see as a very conservation soap. There are rumors that something may be in the wings, so I keep waiting. Why can’t people keep their religious views private if they expect me to keep my sexuality private? And please don’t quote the bible because if you do, you need to quote ALL of it, and I can guarantee you’ll come off as a hypocrite. Go Days.
