Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Why The Good Wife hit a new low ? It already had a 1.7 this season.

  • tvjunkie

As much as I love OUAT I don’t like that there are so many characters that we only see them every other week. I want to see them all back together again.

  • fringewillget5seasons

Poor Mentalist dragged down by The Trash Wife.

Also 60 Min loses a lot of football demo, too bad for the later lineup really.

  • rob60990

Not great for Revenge but it looks better than CBS dramas and Animation sitcoms. Animation sitcoms will likely rebound with football overrun next week. Terrific rating for Once Upon a Time.

  • Simon

Before people come in and start saying that Jorge Garcia had an effect on the ratings I must remind you that there were a few more factors in the episode that may have helped, first one is we learned who the father of Emma’s baby is, second that the father maybe related to a major player in Storybrooke.

Loved the episode myself, and I think we can safely say that the ratings for the show have stabilized now. Getting low to mid 3′s.

A 2.6 in the demo for The Simpsons is mighty impressive considering how long the show’s been on the air for.

  • Zach

Revenge may be down, but its still doing great compared to most of ABC’s lineup. And low 2′s and high 1′s Max? Even if it does fall to that point it will still rate better than Scandal which will be in the low 1′s if ratings are really going to deteriorate the way you think they are.

  • ZmaX

Great episode of Revenge last night, it’s dipped to a 2.6 before and gone up, I’m not too worried.

With that big revelation at the end, Emily’s gonna have some work cut out for her in the following weeks. :D

Great for OUAT, it did as i expected.

  • Alan

Revenge has to stabilize. It’s dropping every week :(

  • Mark

The Walking Dead was amazing last night. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such good tv.

  • Joseph

Simpsons beat family guy last night! Revenge is staying stable I can understand that second half hour dropped because first half was boring but next week it will definitely go up because of this weeks ending!

  • OnceFan

What a shame @ 666 Park Avenue though. After hearing parts of the set were destroyed because of Hurricane Sandy and seeing these news, it’s going to be cancelled certainly without any further episodes.

  • marcos

@Deny dont bother replying to this person cause we shouldn’t discuss with people with mental illness

  • Nope

sweet for THE MENTALIST AND ONCE UPON A TIME

  • John A

People stop replying to MAX and he will go away.

  • HB

I do think Revenge can go up next week. Emily’s secret is finally getting out. :D

  • Danielle

Loving the numbers for OUAT! Great episode last night, too. I’d been looking forward to the Emma-backstory ep since the summer time. :)

  • danny94

For God Sakes Max just SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Michael

Oncefan, 666 Park Avenue is going to be cancelled regardless of the Hurricane destroying the set. The ratings are beyond awful! Such a shame because the show has vastly improved in quality.

  • Jared

I’m surprised ABC has stuck with 666 Park Ave this long. Its been steady the past couple weeks but a 1.4 demo is pretty bad considering how good OUAT and Revenge have been doing.

  • Mark Wilkins

Good ratings for OUAT, hope it stays steady throughout the season. Can’t wait for the cable numbers
