Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Saints/Eagles) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in New Orleans. As a result, the NBC numbers may be a bit inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, while ABC won with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.5, down four tenths from last week's 4.9 adults 18-49 rating. . Revolution scored a 2.9, down a tenth from last week's 3.0. Your predictions were too optimistic .

On ABC, Dancing With the Stars scored a 2.1, down two tenths from last week's 2.3 . Castle earned a 1.9, down three tenths from last week's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating

CBS returned to its regular Monday Night lineup after a week of repeats for Superstorm Sandy and preemption from presidential debate coverage. How I met Your Mother earned a 2.8, down four tenths from its last original's 3.2. Partners was even with the 2.1 it earned 3 weeks ago. 2 Broke Girls earned a 3.3, up two tenths from the 3.1 it earned three weeks ago and Mike & Molly earned a 2.8, down two tenths from its last 3.0 rating. Hawaii Five-O returned to a  2.0, down a tenth from a 2.1 three weeks ago.

On FOX, the return of Bones was flat with its last original's 2.0. Frequent punchline The Mob Doctor returned to a 1.0, which is actually up a tenth from its last 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, 90210 Returned from a week off to earn a 0.4 even with its last original. Gossip Girl returned to a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating after its last original's 0.4 rating.

You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

After a stronger voice, Smash was pulling low 2’s and even fell to 1.8’s and 1.9’s.

  • Rebecca

Enjoyed Castle (very funny and entertaining) and HIMYM last night (except for Marshall’s shtick). Hoping this is the final season of HIMYM, since it seems to be wrapping up anyway. If I didn’t already know that Ted’s kids know Robin as “Aunt Robin” (it has been said in a previous show), I’d think she eventually winds up with Ted and is somehow finally able to have kids. I’m still sticking with it to see what happens.

  • Nikki

so even though Partners is pulling 2.1’s with 5 million viewers its not good enough. Is it because of the network its on? Cause its a pretty funny show, and people seem to be watching more and more every week. I really like the show, especially Sophia Bush shes hysterical.

  • Terry

I’ve been watching Revolution religiously as any other sci-fan, but its slow plot development and terrible lead (Charlie) are reasons why the ratings are steadily declining. Without the Voice as lead-in, the declines would have been steeper.

  • Love Me for Me

“90210” was a repeat for some people , Last Night.

  • Lyndle

I don’t get people referring to X-factor as flop factor, this would make sense if the show was actually failing but it obviously does well enough if it is being renewed. Obviously some Cowell’s expectations we’re a lot higher but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Fox is still cashing in on the show.

  • bluejay72

    I agree with you!~ :)

    I love Amanda Brown too!!!

As one commenter said, no matter what happens, The Voice will stay above 4’s.
Far from the atrocious ratings of Flop Factor! Lol!~ :)

  • Mike

Revolution is doing great. A 2.9 is a very good number. The show is just getting better,
DWTS bad numbers are hurting Castle.
H50 has no excuse. A good lead in and a terrible result. Ouch. TNT should ask for the money back,

  • Bee

YAY partners! i don’t care if this site hates it haha LOVE IT and it’s only 0.3 lower than its series premiere. and the fact that HIMYM went down FOUR tenths while partners remained the same shows it might actually be catching on. if this was ABC, FOX, or NBC, they’d be nurturing it to become the success that it can be, even if a smaller one. it shows like 2.5 men and all these other loud multi-cam comedies can exist, partners should too. it just wasn’t sampled much from the start unfortunately.

  • Oliver

Partners is easily CBS’ worst performing comedy and a lack of additional comedy time in the schedule translates into cancellation.

  • Percysowner

@Alan but Gossip Girl… it has to stabilize asap!

For the CW’s sake GG stabilizing would be good, but GG got a wrap up, shortened season, so it really doesn’t have to stabilize. It’s not like it will suddenly be renewed. It just has to run out its final episodes and then it’s done.

  • K

When will it be H5O’s turn?

  • Darryll

@ Lyndle, Fox are NOT cashing in on the show, are you even aware how much the production costs are? Britney Spears alone gets 15 mil for just this cycle! The only reason why it’s getting renewed is because they are giving it one final chance and because Fox as a whole are doing terrible anyways this fall.

It IS considered Flop Factor because ratings are even lower than their 1st season which in itself was already branded a flop.

  • Dan S

Even if RVN doesn’t adjust up the 2.9 demo is the same rating POI got last week & no 1 is forecasting doom for that outstanding show. Even at 2.9 RVN remains the highest rated 10pm show & I don’t think it’s scheduled hiatus is going to hurt it. TWD will be taking a break soon & won’t be back until Feb but guaranteed fans will be back for both shows. Despite the 1.0 at this point Mob Dr will likely finish it’s 13 episode order.

  • Baaa!

Hmm down night all around, trend for this Monday. The lingering Sandy and being the night before the election seems to have made an impact.

  • FB

But Nikki is right, it is funny and shows need time to grow. If you keep canceling shows that are well written right off the bat they can never get a chance to catch on. Like Pan Am. That show did better in that spot than GCB or Park Ave 666, and they cancelled it.

  • SPM

    Lol @ flop 0210 & Floppick girl

  • Justin121

Nothing above 3.0 except Voice and 2BG.

Last year Voice went from 6.0 to 3.0 this year ALL_4.0.

    Revolution first time under-3.0

Gossip Gurl having best season since s3.

    Mob Doc still alive.

Hate to say it but Partners doesn’t look as dead as it did 1 month ago.

  • Ashley

The Voice changed it’s platform and it’s improved the show. I think that’s why the rating are going up. However, I think the numbers went down yesterday b/c the talent wasn’t so good on Team Blake. My prediction is that the numbers go up closer to 5 when CeeLo’s team is on Wed. His and Xtina are more talented and interesting. I wonder if they saved the best to go against The X Factor so it could crush that show.

What are the half hour ratings for DWTS and Castle?
