What Obama voters can expect to get in return for their support (cont.)

Third, the lack of ‘meaningful’ reforms to Medicare, Medicaid, and especially Social Security–whose income stream was ‘diverted’ for the past two years to ‘fund’ the ‘payroll tax holiday,’ resulting in no ‘stimulative’ affect to the economy whatsoever–will render them insolvent sooner than later.

The burden on the Social Security ‘trust fund’ is growing at an alarming rate, rendering it ‘insolvent’ by 2016, due to the fact that 10,000 ‘baby boomers’ are retiring each and every day. At this ‘growth’ rate, the payroll taxes of two younger workers to support one Social Security beneficiary–for the rest of their lives.

Quickly following that are Medicare and Medicaid, which are estimated to ‘fold’ a decade or so thereafter.

Finally, this all adds up to having to borrowing increasingly larger amounts every month to ‘finance’ our growing deficit, mostly from countries like China–a place which most of President Obama’s constituency listed above cannot point to on a map–threatening the very solvency of our country.

When we can’t borrow any more money, because we have reached our credit limit–the music stops–and it will be the minorities and underclass that disappear first, because their ‘Big Government’ will simply not have the cash flow to support them.

    But, where would they go?

Thank you dd that is what I wanted. Will forward on my husband. She fell in the middle of the night getting out of bed. I’m not sure where the break is or how bad. They told us her stay would be short of two weeks. When my husband saw her yesterday she was in great spirits and no pain. She is on pain medication–not sure what. I don’t know about the other things you mentioned but will ask husband to ck with doctors. Thanks again-

Obama May Levy Carbon Tax to Cut U.S. Deficit (Pipe Dream)

Barack Obama may consider introducing a tax on carbon emissions to help cut the U.S. budget deficit after winning a second term as president, according to HSBC Holdings Plc.

A tax starting at $20 a metric ton of carbon dioxide equivalent and rising at about 6 percent a year could raise $154 billion by 2021, Nick Robins, an analyst at the bank in London, said today in an e-mailed research note, citing Congressional Research Service estimates. “Applied to the Congressional Budget Office’s 2012 baseline, this would halve the fiscal deficit by 2022,” Robins said. (That is if we do not spend anymore)

State Dept. Briefing for Foreign Reporters: ‘We’re Going to Get Downgraded’

As entitlement idiots golf-clap over Obama’s reelection, another downgrade is on the horizon. Despite a credit downgrade for the first time in US history happening under Obama’s presidency, the takers are too busy celebrating President Downgrade.

CNSNews com – An economic analyst invited by the State Department to brief a group of foreign journalists on the U.S. economy on Election Day responded to a question from a reporter from the Egyptian newspaper Al Wafd by predicting that U.S. Treasury securities—the means by which the U.S. government finances its debt–will be downgraded again.

At Tuesday’s State Department event, the Egyptian reporter asked analyst Kathy Bostjancic, director of Macroeconomic Analysis for the nonpartisan Conference Board, what impact the so-called “fiscal cliff” facing the U.S. federal government would have on the rating of U.S. Treasury securities.

“I mean, to me, it seems the odds of us getting downgraded again are very high,” said Bostjanic.

“But I think that they [Republicans and Democrats] get around the sequestration,” Bostjanic went on to say, “and I think by consequence, because they’re not going to find an agreement on how to offset that in the budget, we’re going to get downgraded.”

The Conference Board, a global membership organization for businesses, describes itself as “an objective, independent source of economic and business knowledge with only one agenda: to help our members understand and deal with the most critical issues of our time.”

The “fiscal cliff” is the colloquialism used to describe a series of federal tax increases and spending limitations scheduled to automatically take affect at the beginning of 2013. Among the automatic tax increases, as summarized by the Congressional Research Service, are the termination of all the lower marginal income-tax rates enacted under President George W. Bush, the termination of the “patch” in the Alternative Minimum Tax that now protects about 27 million middle-class American households from having to pay a higher federal tax rate, and the 2-point cut in the 12.4 percent Social Security payroll tax that President Obama signed into law in 2010.

Boss1. If I were you I wouldn’t talk about bubbles. I don’t care about the right wing. As far as I am concerned, they are as maliciously vicious as the left wing (in this country at least). After all, there isn’t much difference between right wing fascism and left wing fascism. Is there? But at least Fox News occasionally presents the opposite view, which is non existent on MSLSD. And they are professionals (at Fox), as opposed to hired guns (and stupid ones) at MSLSD. Sometimes I think that MSLSD people are just a bunch of harmless kids living in lala land. They have no even a remote idea of substance. That is why they are at the bottom when it comes to ratings. Just look up the site we are posting on.

And stop labeling people, as it is a clear indication of your lack of critical thinking: if I (you) don’t understand something, I’d better label it. It is not going to help you…

@letmethink, the program The Newsroom on HBO did an episode about the main anchor reporting the killing of OBL drunk and being fired. I wonder if that was the ground work for that writer?? ;)

I watch World News almost everyday. ABC tends to be very moderate. I hope it was recreational an not habitual too!! Either way it was NO surprise that it was election night an she should of not partaken. :)
