An all-new episode of GOLD RUSH premieres this Friday, November 9th at 9PM E/P.  In “Secret Weapons,” Todd strikes a deal on a new gold-rich claim to get Dave's crew back in action.  The Dakota boys hire new miners and one is quickly terminated.  Todd junks his old washplant and Parker sets an unprecedented goal to get $40,000 worth of gold in his first week.

Preceding the 9PM premiere, catch GOLD RUSH: THE DIRT at 8PM E/P.  In this one-hour behind the scenes show, GOLD RUSH Executive Producer Christo Doyle sits down for a candid conversation with the miners, providing insight into previous episodes and a sneak peek look at what’s to come this season.  Doyle also pays a visit to the Hoffmans’ Klondike claims and gets more than he bargained for.

And an all-new episode of JUNGLE GOLD premieres at 10PM E/P.  In “Shots Fired,” George and Scott finally begin to mine for the estimated $1.5M dollars of gold on their claim. But they must overcome floods, machinery meltdowns and armed neighbors if they have any hope of getting their first taste of jungle gold.

I love the show gold rush but this new show jungle gold is a joke! So much drama you can tell its staged! They need to relax with all the drama music and all that stuff.
This is my first time watching jungle gold and I’m already over it after just 10 mins!

  • Ash

    Dear Discovery,
My husband and I both love Gold Rush. Back in 2007 my husband was diagnosed
with Huntingtons Diesease. In 2008 we were fortunate enough to go to Ca. and
dig for gold at Roaring mining camp a place mentioned on another one of your
shows. it was Awesome! and yes we got a little gold. My husbands diesease is
more progressed now and for the most part he is home bound. We look forward
to every friday night to watch the next episode. one hour is not enough, we
just get into it and its over! big bummer! In your pre season commercials
you said someone hits the mother load! I hope they all do! when we watch your show we reminece about the time we went looking for treasure and dream
of going again someday . thank you discovery channel

    sincerly,
    Sabra Vaughn

Ash, it’s obvious this show is fake! Those guys worry more about dramatizing on camera than getting the work done, have you noticed that they’re always well groomed and never drive the tractors? So many things can be found on this show that only a gullible dummy would believe its real.

Jungle gold is not staged at all. The reason people continually say that is staged is that they have a crew that the cameras don’t often show. I am a miner, I know what it is like. I mined there for about a year in Ghana, then that was about all I could handle. I was scared for my safety. I now mine in Alaska. I enjoy watching the show.

  • Carlton

Those guys are way out of their league mining out there in Ghana. They think goin down their will be a qiuck and easy way to fix there debt? They can’t accept the facts that they are screwed from the real estate business and instead of trying to establish a new career they want to “hit it big” gold mining and cOntinue their millionaire lifestyles. I have never seen them try to drive any excavators once cause their too busy standing around with their hands on their hips and occasionally high-fiveing each other.

It’s funny that even though they are in the middle of the jungle, in the mud, they still feel the need to make their hair look nice and gel it up.

  • BORED TONY

I GUESS THEY GEARED GOLD RUSH FOR THE SENILE WITH ALL THE RECAPS OF PREVIOUS EPISODES,..WHAT YOU JUST SAW AND WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN…THEY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH DRAMA FOR AN HOUR SO THEY JUST STRETCH IT OUT WITH WHAT THEY THINK IS CLEVER EDITING…OVER AND OVER AND OVER BLAH BLAH BLAH.

  • sis boom bah

Jungle Gold is fake. Nobody is that stupid, that often. If they were that foolish, they’d be dead already.

    I call BS.

Discovery now stands for “Damn Idiotic Scripted Crap Obliterating Vaguely Enjoyable Reality Yo-yo’s”. You heard it here 1st. I just made it up, lol.

  • Jermaine

Jungle Gold – This show is so fake. Discovery used to put out quality shows. They really missed the mark with this one. It deserves to be canceled!

  • Faked

The show is fake near one of the ending shows they supposedly found this really good area and they were supposed to start digging on it and then suddenly they went to find some English guy and got involved in some English guy who wanted $50,000 and made no sense at all and then suddenly they wind up doing some in the Jungle secret $35,000 payday and then the reactions were so fake it was unbelievable After they got robbed. They showed how absolutely ignorant and stupid they both were it was real Hollywood do is use all those hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire locals to do it the old-fashioned way and they could’ve paid people locally for years to do that Four years and made slow money instead they went went for quick money
