NOTE: All national ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Melissa- “The bible clearly condemns homosexuality”

and he clearly said Christ, not the bible. The new testament and old contradict each other many times. so which one do you go to ?

  • Joe

fox called the race first (rove) didnt like them doing that but yes fox called it 3 minutes before cnn. infact obama supporters found out from fox there in chi-town

15 minuets before they called the race Obama has won 150+ votes it was clearly that Romney was out

  • Elan

To people trying to bash FOX News. FOX is a completely separate entity from FOX News. FOX is a broadcast network, FOX News is a cable network. Believe me, FOX News definitely won the cable ratings in terms of election coverage, and maybe even in total cable – that’ll be confirmed when the cable ratings are released.

  • suzie

Thankfully anti-gay bigots have been proved to be a decaying bread in America!

  • John

I’m glad the homophobic Romney lost. He’s also clearly not worthy to be a leader.

Melissa, the Bible has been overwritten so many times in the past just for the churches benefit, I wouldn’t give a damn about it. If God condemns homosexuality, then I won’t believe in such a God.

  • r0ckmypants

@Melissa – As Derrick pointed out, I said Christ, not the Bible. Christ never condemned or condoned homosexuality. But the section of the Bible to which you are referring does seemingly condemn homosexual activity (there are modern theologians who would disagree), but it also condemns the mixing of textiles. So you better go burn everything in your closet that isn’t 100% cotton or linen, and prepare to go to hell with the gays.

You don’t seem to understand what I mean by “fear.” I don’t mean it in the way that it’s used at Halloween. I’m not saying gays instill a sense of fear in you the same as a serial killer on the loose would. But there is a deep-seeded fear inherent in those who condemn others similar to what I said earlier: that they could potentially corrupt you or threaten you/your position.

Plus, you keep changing your position. First, you don’t believe in gay marriage. Then you just don’t believe in being gay, period. Now you disagree with them. Pick a position and stick to it. It’s what Romney couldn’t do and part of the reason why he lost last night.

Nope. CNN. Read it right here on TVBTN!

@Melissa Is that Melissa Joan Hart I see?

    LOL

  • Chuc

@holly Thanks so i guess tomorrow is going to be a normal day.

    Double

Arrow aired a new episode on CTV last night. I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing or not but the new episode of Arrow is already available today.

  • Jay

Look at all you gay enablers. There’s nothing wrong with having a problem with gay marriage. Get over it.

  • Jay

I would say at least 75 % of all americans have a problem with gays and gay marriage. A lot of them don’t express there hatred in public and try to ignore it. Don’t think the America’s majority accepts gays because we don’t.

  • The End

Comes across as homophobic to me. Two men, or Two women have a right to marry and live happy lives together if they do so wish. At least in my opinion. If the couple in question are happy together and are doing no harm to society they deserve to be left alone.

    @ hubertwentland5

Funny you say that because this fall it’s doing amazing in ratings with the Voice and Evolution.

  • omabin

If the cw was not preempted and those really are arrow’s ratings, it should pull eo right now in favour of arrow repeats. Then, as for the emily ownes rating, I think people don’t realise how much ratings are becoming unreliable for the cw… they are just too small for the nielsen system to be effective, the margin of error just becomes too big compared with the sample size. It’s basic statistics, yet we all tend to ignore this when their ratings come up. Stuff like repeats having the same or higher ratings than originals sort of shows us this. s

  • Darryll

@ Melissa, how are you a true Christian but you support Mitt who is a Mormon over Obama who is also Christian? Makes no sense to me.

  • Mark3

Great. 4 more years of the piece of s..t as prez! Way to go america. At least osama knows that 57 million people didkt vote for him and the country is more divided now then it was in 2008. O well since he has done such a crap job the first time he will the second time too. Whicb just guarantees a republican prez in 2016. The republican party has alot of young upcoming talent while the dems have …..ummm….. old hilary clinton. Lol. And the libya scandal kills hes shot at 2016. Besides most of the time a incumbent wins. Then the country usually goes for the other party the next go around. Its gonna be a bad four years for america. With another 6 trillion in debt. Rising gas prices with no end in sight. 8 percenr umemployment rate. And by the time this idiot leaves office what r they gonna say. Ummm its STILL bushs fault?! Lol. For the first time in my 32 years of living ive never been ashamed of my country and this prez. Thank god my gf is from belguim. Cuz i get to go there for awhile:) then come back just in time for the next election. Obama has put this country in the toilet. Now he gets to flush it.

  • Mark3

Hey JAY. I AGREE WITH YOU COMPLETELY ABOUT THE GAY MARRIAGE ISSUE. its gross and i agree most people have a prob with it. It passed last night in BLUE STATES PEOPLE. I think its completely wrong. And someone said obama is a christian? ! Ummm ya hes a huge supporter of killing un born babies. Not to christian if u ask me. Libs call it womens health lol. Call it like it is. Killing unborn babies. And he supports gay marriage. Ya most christians dont. Romney won the christian vote last night. And alot of people dont wanna admit that there against gays because the crazy left wing loons will start saying. O ur a homophob lol. Who cares people. Stand up for what you believe in. Its ok this means republicans win in 2016. Obama is gonna screw us more then he already has.(if thats even possible )

I don’t think it’s going to be a regular thing with CTV (here in Canada) airing Arrow early. I think they just aired it on Tues this week as they had a conflict for tonight with both CTV and CTV2 having X-Factor and The Voice at the same time as Arrow.
My onscreen guide for next week shows it back on Wed at 8pm, same as the CW.
